So I am working on a camera case for the 2011 Labyrinth of Jareth Fantasy Masquerade Ball.Masquerade Ball Labyrinth of Jareth 2011 14th Annual Event in the Royal Court Costumes and masks Required.

A few years ago i made my first camera case

and the next year I made an iPhone Steampunk case

so for this year I am making a case for my Canon T1i with the battery grip

I went with making it with the battery grip, because it would give me more surface space to work with to build the bellows

a few things, the only tools i used on these were a dremel , sandpaper and a razorblade.
It was all done at my worktable.

I like your combination of materials. How do you carry the camera and iphone when you're on the go? A holster, perhaps?

Re: Victorian Steampunk DSLR Camera Case Mk.3 WIP

That's pretty cool. Short of actually pulling the camera and th iPhone apart and actually building a new shroud for both, that looks real good.

heres the work I did today

the holes were cut for the lens and i made the Bellows.

what you see here is the SECOND bellows i made today
I will post a Tutorial on how I made the bellows if anyone wants me too.

The bellows were made with black gaffe tape and Popsicle craft sticks

here you can see the layout of the craft sticks

I plan to cut out some of the bottom of the bellows to be able to use the zoom.

Here you can see the work on the back panel has started.
I scanned the case with the camera in it and printed a 1:1 scale page out to create a template for the cut-outs for the view finder, the review screen and the few buttons i use the most, the review button.
The shutter button will be cut on the side

A custom made holster for the camera and the phone and case fits in the inside breast pocket.
I will try to dig up a photo

be a lot easier to cover the item in cling wrap and do a mold of the item
