It was the pilot episode that aired prior to the first season. It's included on the season one DVD set but is rarely aired.

After watching it I see why it was rarely aired. Blah. I love this show but if that was the first episode I had seen I dont think I would of gone back.

Man, I thought I was going crazy! We didn't watch it as it was recording on the DVR, but as the beginning was coming on right before we turned off the TV, I looked at my girlfriend and asked if we had seen this one. She didn't think so either, but when I checked the original air date I said that we had to have seen it, but must have forgotten for some reason. I feel a lot better this morning that Alzheimer's has not started setting in!
