Vendor Question - Hanzo Swords

Sorry if it is bad form to resurrect a dormant thread like this, but I would also like to know if there are any members who have dealt with this vendor (owner Kevin McMahon)?

On their website, they have a "testimonials" page with dozens of glowing reviews and thank-you's, posted via Facebook, Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail, whick make it hard for me to understand how so many people can apper to be so happy with their service, when I have never had anything other than bad service from them:

I placed an order almost a year ago, and have still not received anything, and every time I contact Mr McMahon, he either has some excuse or is evasive ("I have no record of your payment. Oh, that account! No problem, we'll ship it out tomorrow.", "I'm out of town, travelling at the moment. Will reply to you on Monday when I get back to the store.").
Not once has he contacted me on his own, to update me on my order status (which is still shown as "unpaid" on the website).

Am I the unlucky exception, or have other members had similarly bad experiences with this outfit?

Resurrecting the dead again! Thanks toxo for your post! It’s never a waste of time to share your experience if it saves others time/money. I almost purchased a kit from their site but came to my home (RPF) looking for honest feedback. You’ve saved me $, so thanks again!
