Thanks for sharing that info, Shawn. :thumbsup
Just watched the movie last night. Silly Germans and their ineffective explosives.
Anyway, did anyone else notice the great wire used for the telephone cords? :love It was insulated in black plastic and twisted in a helical shape. Looked very durable yet still flexible. Does this variety have a name, and does anyone even make it anymore?
Also, I want a Kubelwagen right now.
Are those the KoobleKar guys?
Check sources for WW2 re-enactors, I'm sure someone does the German tags in that circle.
I saw a lot of posts in this thread about Stauffenberg's passport... I find it hilarious because he wouldn't have had one. The ID book he flashes is his military soldbuch (Soldier's Identity and Pay book). Passports were for civilian use. Saying that Stauffenberg would have had a passport is like saying that all the soldiers on D-Day would have had to clear customs and get the appropriate visa before entering France. :lol
I'm working on a soldbuch that will have Tom Cruise's picture but all of the information of the real Stauffenberg kitted out with stamps and written in the proper German script. It's quite a fun project.![]()
Oh...please keep me updated on this. Any thought of doing one with Stauffenberg's photo. I'm positive there would be one that would be accurate.
Shawn
Any movement on this Orange_Blend?There are plenty of pics of him so ya, I could do one with the real Stauffenberg's photo no problem. I was thinking of maybe offering a run of these when I'm done.
Maybe a companion piece to Kurtyboy's awesome folder set.![]()
Any movement on this Orange_Blend?
Throwing up a bump here.
