Vader Rarely Seen Publicity Photos

I recently ran across these photos that I've not seen before. I'd love to find higher rez versions. Especially the red one. Does anyone here have them?

You'd think that the orange one would have been extremely obvious. Of course you're correct. I'd still like to find higher rez versions.

Maybe try searching for toy promotions. The backgrounds seem like they'd be for a commercial maybe.

I’ve been looking for higher res versions of the orange one for years.

They are wonderful shots of the costumes though, keep copies of the files we’re lucky to see them

Holy crap. After all these years I found the reference photo used for the artwork. It's from The New Essential Chronology and it's supposed to be Luke vs Vader on Mimban in Splinter of the Mind's Eye.

I know that Vader with Stormtroopers and the red background was used for a color book, but that's also the first thing I thought seeing those yellow and orange backgrounds. It made me think of the original Kenner coloring books.

The red one with Vader the the storm troopers was used for promotions, including over sized trading cards that I bought new back in 1980.
