I keep missing good conventions. Assing there are others that are in the same boat as me, I decided to put together a list. I'm limiting this to the US as the list is hard enough to keep up with. If you know of something I dont, have an update, or know of a contest, please post in the thread and i'll update this as quickly as possible to show all the latest info and dates.

Nice list. Wizard World Chicago is technically in Rosemont, IL. :p

Since you did list Anime Expo, I'm just going to suggest adding some of the other bigger anime conventions around the US. There's Otakon (Aug 9-11/2013, Baltimore, Maryland), Katsucon (Feb 14-16/2014, National Harbor, MD), Anime Central (May 16-18/2014, Rosemont, IL) and Project A-Kon (2014 TBD: usually Memorial Weekend , Dallas, TX).
 
Because I am in SoCal, regardless of how small the convention, I'm going to add it. Likewise, if there is an convention near you, especially if its small, please post it so others can discover them. I appreciate the info infymys, Other than Katsucon I was cluless. I'm sure theres still plenty more conventions out there. Keep them coming guys! This thread only stays near the top as long as you are updating it.
 
Though the website says it's a gaming convention, Gen Con has cosplay, comics, and a whole lot more. I used to go when it was still in Milwaukee. Then they moved it to Indy. Anyway, Gen Con August 15-18 2013 Con Gen Con 2013
 
We have a tiny one here in my local area of Bristol Tennessee called RobCon which will be going on this Saturday. Just google Bristol RobCon to get the website.
