Urko from TV series Planet of the Apes

It's an ape mania economy mask. Nice, but not as nice as a custom fit pull over :love

I have one and it's claustrophobic for me. I prefer the foam latex to be glued down. If that were not possible, second choice would be spandex hood. Not sure if I can keep on a latex mask for longer than five minutes. Unless I had lots of valium.

The beginnings of hair, and it's not even styled yet.

Thank you Franz...someday I will sculpt all of the apes. So far I have done Milo, Cornelius, Dr. Maximus, Dr. Honorious, President of the Academy, Julius in 1:6 scale.

I like my gorillas with a little bit of wavy hair. Makes them more sexy, don't you think?

Are you serious? No wonder it looks absolutely perfect. Someday I want to make one just like that.

VERY COOL! Some friends of mine and I are thinking of doing a Planet of the Apes costume group in the fall for a local convention. What kind of foam latex did you go with? Was it the kind that has to be baked?

stunning work. not a big fan of planet of the apes , but i know awesome work when i see it.

Thank you! It's foam latex, so I baked it for four hours.

Here's Martin in action at the NEC Memorabilia. He looks so awesome! (That's him to the right...)
