Hi everyone,

It's been a long while since I showed some pics of my display room so after the addition of my Han in Carbonite "poster", I thought I'd snap some pics. My thanks to "vash" and boba debt for the fantastic work they did on the carbonite panel and frame respectively. I finished the assembly / paintjob a few days ago and couldn't wait to see what it looked like hanging on the wall.

Hey Chris,
cool to see your excellent display room again :eek
One of the best presented Collections i've ever seen.

The "Han in Carbonite" looks great !

What Indy Gear is that (Shirt, Jacket, Fedora, Pants, Bag and strap and Belts)? They look great!

Very clean and tasteful.

Like a museum would do it.

I thought your Falcon was on a movable pipe-stand? Or was that someone else?

Thats because Chris will only accept top of the line. :thumbsup

Chris, everything looks fantastic as usual. The HIC box looks kick ass. The framework is amazing. Perfect, actually. I see they even got the fingers on the right hand folded down and correct. Of course, I expect only the best from you. The Biker Scout looks amazing too. The displays are fantastic.

Simple amazing Chris, my dream room lol, love the "poster" very nice work, oh and the speederbike, very attractive lol!

Thanks for all the great comments everyone. Much appreciated. :)

Jedifyfe - here's a breakdown of the Indy parts:

1. Fedora = Christy's of London (same body as Herbert Johnson).
2. Jacket = Todd's Costumes (custom version).
3. Shirt = Adventurebilt (Marc Kitter).
4. Bag strap and buckle = Adventurebilt (Marc Kitter).
5. Holster = Adventurebilt (Marc Kitter).
6. Gun belt = Noel Howard (Raiders version).
7. Pants belt = Noel Howard.
8. Pants = Noel Howard (Raiders version).
9. Boots = Alden #405.
10. Bullwhip = David Morgan (10ft Natural Tan - longer handle version).

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Very, very nice as always. The speeder bike in front of the forest pic and this Han in carbonite...WOWWWWW.....really stunning !!!

Just a little detail : the DV lightsaber under the ESB poster is not an ESB model ????

:love

Beautiful. That's the way an Indy costume is supposed to look. Between you and Jason, the best Indy displays in terms of thoroughness and look.

Nice job indeed.

I really like your Indy display as well...:thumbsup I prefer not to have a head sculpt display just because ( IMO ) a spot on likeness has yet to be created so why even go there :lol

The whole room looks wonderful...:love

Cheers!

Wonderful displays. I'm lovin the way the framed reference/posters with props make me feel like I'm in that iconic moment. And to have the prop out and 'touchable' could only add to the experience.

My those posters are nice. I know little about these vertical formats, please enlighten me.

The posters are called "insert" posters. They measure 14 x 36 inches and were popular up until the late 80's I believe. I like them because they don't take up as much wall space as the regular one sheets.

Fred - yes, I'm aware that it's an ANH Vader Saber displayed with the ESB poster. It's an MR ANH Vader and I just never got around to replacing it with the ESB version.

Thanks again everyone - I'm honestly humbled by the response. :$

Cheers,

Chris
