Personally, items like this and the Character Options 9/10/11 sonics fill in a nice gap in my collection. They may be toys, but I'm happy getting much of the accuracy for a fraction of the price of a fan-made run.

That would be because it's a toy... :lol

To be fair, the Pertwee Sonic was very toy like in it's appearance anyways. As Dave says, nice filler until you can get a higher end one.

Well yes.. but look at that oversized butt it has. The shape has been distorted to accomodate its toy-ness.

Contrast to the toy Matt Smith sonic, which looks quite close to the actual prop! Or the fine "prop-toy" work done by Art Asylum/Diamond Comics, with their Star Trek line.

I'm just saying the Pertwee sonic toy is little disappointing in that regard. :unsure
