Ultimate Iron Man Foam Build (WIP)

I like your build. But I can't handle the helmet... Every time I see it, this is what I see in my head:

dude awesome build! i'm currently workin on extremis its nice to see people building comic suits again!! keep up the good work!

The construction is somewhat different to the other suit i made, less joins and lots of bending/folding. In my eyes this makes my novice skilled work seem rough at the edges. Although im liking it because it is looking almost hand drawn i think. Will see when it is all finished and painted.
 
Helmet colour. going for bright comic style red and yellow. Still need to touch up areas where coulours meet because the masking damaged the paint a bit. If anyone has tips on how to mask without damaging painted surfaces that would be great.
 
Side by side with my daughters helmet. she wanted a purple masked one and loves running round the house in it.

The smaller helmet was actually the stock size from the files and was painted without a white base coat.
 
I've never seen this Iron Man suit design before, but I love it. Looks like a cross between Iron Man and Mega Man X. It's coming together nicely, great work!

I would love to say yes. And would work on it more, but as many people say on these forums family time is often more important. Gonna spend some time in the chest plate tonight and will update if enough progress is made.
 
Chest like most of the suit is mostly done now. Had some issues of where to put the seam so I can get into it as it is too tight to slip on like a shirt like I do with my mk6. Also fixed the abs so they fit (had to add a spacer in the rear).

Finished working on it for today so thought id post progress pic. No shoulders as they wouldnt stay on in the right place. (sorry about the simpsons/duff trousers, LOL)

Also I do not plan to do any lighting in this suit at this time so the center of the chest will just be painted pale blue.

@Kickpuncher. The helmet was scaled up by 10% everything else has been left at the stock scale. I am 183cm 86kg and so far had to trim bicep at the armpit for mobility and add a spacer at the back of the abs. Apart from that the stock scale is working fine for me.
