If you are doing interviews and on camera ..... yes, but dont panic if you havent got one, we will sort that out on the day
we have managed to pull off a bit of an exclusive, if it indeed can be called that
we will have on display the Boushh Costume that was seen in the Moivie "PAUL"

Time is running out with this as i need to confirm with the Organisor's next week how many of us will be in attendence and how much room we will need.
Ive actually just got off the phone with them and they are looking forward to having us on board not only for this show but others further down the line, which is great new's for the RPF.
I must stress however and this is very important, Passes for the event can only be given to those displaying their Props, so i need to re-think the video Blog situation.
If you have room for your own tables that would be a bonus, table clothes will not be supplied so you need to bring those and id also suggest making "Please do not touch" Sign's, there will be plenty of us there to keep our eyes on one anothers displays.

I don't mind paying myself as I was going to go as a punter anyway, but I think it would be a bit rum to ask Tony to pay as he's taking time between shoots to come and film for us. I'll pay for his ticket if there is no alternative for his case but if you could sort something just for him I would appreciate it.
Is he definately coming ............ i need to get confirmation on this asap and a day would be superb too (saturday prefered)

hi mate
just a quick question, as we'll be set up as a display area and not paying for our tables as traders will we not be able to advertise items for sale while on display ?
and is their a limit to how much we bring ?
at the moment I've counted with gloves and busts and things around 25 items just working on display stands and plaques for them now so I hope this is ok
I will be bringing a table with me but could maybe do with an extra one from the venue ?

Great question's that i will definately look into for you, however you can bring as much as you like, how i understand it at the moment is, the amount of space we are given is determined by how much we have to show.
Memorabilia used to allow you to go in late on a friday so i'm hoping i will be able to do this and do a majority of the set up prior to saturday and try and get as many tables etc as i can (if at all possible).
As you know the traders have to pay for their table's and the space they use, we are getting this free as we are basically there to inhance the Event with our display's so i am unsure where we lie regarding sales, having said that there is nothing stopping you giving out buisness cards and your details.
i hope that help's a little, but i will as detail's continue to come in update this thread.

I might be up for bringing along my collection ( Including screenused items from Shaun Of The Dead, Starship Troopers, Children Of Men, Tank Girl, Doomsday, Slither, 28 Weeks Later, and a whole bunch of replicas from many and varied other films... ) but it's all dependant on babysitting and travel logistics!

The Saturday Night Venue for the Social Gathering as been found, we will be meeting up and having a few drinks, Chat and laugh's with Lidsay and Brian Muir.

BTW, re: tables...
One thing I'm going to do for the next Collectormania Glasgow event is make up grab-guards.
All you need is a sheet of perspex the length of the table, two cheap ( Bendable ) shelf brackets or other L-shaped pieces of metal, and a couple of clamps.
They won't stop someone determined to steal, but they're enough to discourage casual fingering.
As it were.
