Just got back from a lovely soggy shortened week in Devon, so wasnt able to reply right off.
OK need to talk it over with the other half, could do with a bit more of a heads up on how far back we can keep little sticky fingers from pulling pieces off stuff though lol.
Itll be one day (Saturday) if i do it though, cant make the two, ill probably be Karting.

I can display a perfect copy of the Avengers Captain America costume along with a Rami replica spiderman costume c/w 3D webbing. I have MANY other sentai props and helmets if that is of ANY interest at all?

Many costume clubs attend Mem , and will no doubt boost numbers of people around your stall .
Ill be there with the UK Hollywood Heroes club , and will have lots of props ..maybe we could join you in displaying stuff on your stand when its not "in hand" being trooped by our members ??
We will have plenty screen accurate guns and helmets, plus a couple of Daleks that could park near you .:lol
Looking forward to seeing my old mate Birdie there !!!

First UK RPF Prop Party is a go

im sorry if this is in the wrong are, i do intend to update the relevent Events section as well

I've finally had confirmation that the UK can and will indeed hold its first ever official RPF Prop party at Memorabilia which is to be held at the NEC Birmingham England, 19th 20th November

i will update the relevent section with all the details, i just wanted to announce that this has been finalised.

The organisor of this event is notouriously slow with communication so hopefully now that he has touched base with me we can begin to finalise everything our end.

If you are from the UK and want to display your props then please sign up quick as places will be limited as this is a public paying event and free tickets are limited.

Re: UK Prop Party - Finalised

ok so im going to start my list again from scratch as there has been some time in between posts.

The Venue is the NEC Birmingham 19th 20th November

Saturday the 19th will be a very early start so that we can get in and set up the RPF area, sometimes they allow set up to take place on a Friday but will confirm this.

We will need to be set up and ready to go by 9.00am Saturday and finishing time is usually 4pm sunday.

I would suggest you bring as many of you own tables and table cloths as possible to display your props on and also make sure you have DO NOT TOUCH SIGNS available too.

if everyone turns up that has expressed an interest there will be more than enough of us to keep and eye on each others items security will not be an issue.

if you have RPF t-shirts we would prefer it if you could wear those please

i will organise a venue for us to meet up for a social on the saturday evening and also list some local hotels in the area

if anyone can help with the following please get in touch

All being well, and if I get something to transport it in, I will bring the falcon. I'll confirm this in a few days when I know for sure.
I will def bring the Tie Bomber and if I don't bring the Falcon, I'll bring some other stuff instead. Possibly SS Cylon Raider & Viper instead...

Both days for me should be good.

Ill be there both days with the Hollywood Heroes costume club .
The HH is appearing with a full sized Jabba the Hutt and some clone troopers .

Ill probably park my Dalek Thay besides the RPF display , and bring some Dr Who weapons , plus maybe some StarWars helmets . Ill liase with whoever is there , Im very flexible and can move my stuff back to the Hollywood Heroes display area if you need space at any time . Im guessing your display stand will be very close to the HH Display as teh organisers usually keep all the charity /prop displays in one block.

My Alien stuff - working tracker build, Nostromo Flamethrower, Morgan 13 Sidearm

Aliens - Rare GW2 Pulse Rifle, Hudson steel pot with all the trimmings, Scratchbuilt Smartgunner Sight, MR Motion Tracker, hand-welder..

Will probably bring the whole Doctor Who/Torchwood collection :lol
