Im 6ft 4 / 5, in costume im probably 2 / 3 inchs taller so 6ft 7 / 8 at a guess. Ill find out next time im in it

Wish I'd been able to get up to the Space Centre to see you guys. I should have been there with the Colonial Marines.

The reason I asked about height it because I've just picked up a suit of armour for my husband and he's 6'4" so two tall Spartans running around should be pretty cool.

Brilliant fabrication. Beats the crap out of anything pepakura based. Seems like a layer of glossy or satin clear coat would make the paint job pop a bit more.

something i am going to be building very soon is the MC and i have to say mate this thread is a fantastic help.. i love how it turned out. what did you use for the visor in the end.. I was thinking of using 2 motorbike iridium lenses.. one with the pattern on the front cut out and the second one behind it .. again wow mate stunning

Ah fantastic Reverend Scapegoat, you saw it in person.. cool You should have said hello, always like meeting fellow RPF members.

We had a few problems with how it fitted at the NSC, first time out and everything. All sorted now, I wore it at Mem in November. Loved every minute of it!

This isnt actually me, im holding the camera. A fellow UKG member tried it on, fits him better than it fits me

edit - Tua - we did use 2 motorbike visors in the end, one dremeled out and then both fixed into the helmet. It works really well!

Very well done, the skill of the people on this board amazes me every visit, that clay work must have been hard going. What did you use for the undersuit? Any shots of just the undersuit to see the detail?
