trouble with this new set of laws is that until its tested out in the court system, its all conjecture and interpretation of the wording. Whats going to be interesting, is seeing a few test cases go through the system and see how the beaks interpret it.
IMHO a known recidavist with criminal history attempting to import or sell an IF or worse a deactivated firearm will not be in the same league as a bone-fide prop collector attempting to import an obvious sci-fi model but when it comes to prosecution by the CPS you never know.
Those UK collectors amongst us will have to keep an eye out for the first batch of prosecutions as these will be the stated cases.
