yeah, on "syfy". I am not a fan of all the sci-fi stuff on nowadays but Twilight Zone always kicks some ass!

And here I thought that I was the only one that wondered about the rifles.
Charles Bronson's rifle looks familiar, but I cant place it, it is possible that it was cobbled together from different firearms. But something about it is real familiar, I feel like I have seen a photo of it before.
Elizabeth Montgomery's rifle looks like it was made from a reproduction (could be a studio made background, or stunt prop?) of a Garand with the but-stock cut down for some reason. I at first thought that it was made from a toy, but as you watch EM handle it, it did have mass. Loved the solid muzzle with just a color difference.
I loved the little touches that Elizabeth Montgomery did, always carefully avoiding the downed power lines, and putting the trash into the garbage can, priceless. :lol
Two other good looking TZ blasters are the Luger, and hunting rifle from "Death Ship".

Look at that scene where she fires at Charles Bronson, where you can see the front of the rifle, you can tell that it isn't a real rifle.

Looks like some kind of clamp assembly (in red) holding the pistol to the rifle mechanism.
I'd hazard a guess that's an under-lever pump air rifle it's mounted on.

After finally watching the whole episode, I'd say he was using an airgun, and she was using a toy. Maybe a hubley or a marx. Does look like some kind of military toy rifle.

Ummm, she's dead. :lol
At first I thought that the M1 Garand E.M. had was made from a Marx M1 toy, but if you watch how she handles it, it has weight, plus it has a smooth finish, and the Marx M1 was textured. Remember, prop departments could and did produced replicas of real pistols and rifles for non shooting, background, and stunt scenes.

Hi Guys,
I think its a rifle minus its wooden stock with a pistol grip welded below.
Now, I'm NOT saying the photo I posted are the correct guns...I'm just showing how the prop department could have made a futuristic rifle by removing the stock and adding a pistol grip.

It looks to me like they might have used a rifle like a Carcano or a Nagant as part of the prop build If you look at the photo there is what looks like a forend stock that looks vary much like one of the two but I can't be 100% sure
