Twilight Zone "Eye of the Beholder" [HD PHOTOS]

I'd like to see these too. What would the actual masks be made from?

I believe he means to make busts, not actual masks. I have no doubt they'll be fantastic, just like this Eye of the Beholder one. :)

If it's just the masks you want, I'm still planning on making them soon. I've been so swamped with school, it isn't funny. I hope to make a facecast next month, however, and will post progress pictures once I get going.

I'm still interested in seeing you make these, but I'm interested in other ways they could be done. Someday I might try them on my own. I'm just wondering what would be a good material to use.

Actually I was think about sculpting a bust of one of the four family members of the "mask" episode without the actual plastic mask.then vacuum form over the sculpt the mask on top. So it would be like the final revealing of the show. I was thinking of doing the money hungry father or the self centered daughter.

But we will see :)

If the vacuforming works out (you might need to cast the bust and then cut that down for the table), I have no doubts that would look awesome, and look forward to seeing it! :)

That is awesome. As soon as I opened the thread & saw the photo, l said out-loud: "Needle, please."

Bravo. :thumbsup

Wow,
Your sculpt is utterly amazing!
I really dig that you chose that character, and nailed it perfectly.
If I had deeper pockets I would gladly throw money your way
I hope to see you tackle some more unmainstream characters like this.
Curious what clay you are using?
Cheers.
