This is my first post on this site so im not sure if im on the right forum
This sculpture has been through alot. I started sculpting a little over a year ago and I knew back then I wanted to make a twilight zone sculpture. It was one of my first sculptures that I started and just keep working on over time. As time passed I kept seeing thing that were wrong and kept changing it. The way I saw it "better to do it right then fast, and eventually i will get faster"
Here is what it looked like over a year ago when i thought it was okay looking.
since that photo I took cardboard and duct tape and made an under bust and melted clay over. A year later and I think its finally ready to mold it it bondo resin.
I watched the "Eye of the Beholder" easily over 100 times while sculpting this and I noticed compared to today standards the edges on the appliances were horrible, also there was no texture on the appliances. So I decided to take to take my artistic freedom and sculpt it as it was actually part of the skin with texture and all. After molding I would like to make latex and poly foam bust and paint them monochrome like the series. I also know how to sew so it will have a doctors jacket and stethoscope.
Thanks for looking.
