Hell every one,
I am new here and i was turned on to this site by a friend and fellow geek and i thought i'd ask about a project i will be starting soon.
So i am a star wars fan and also a gun collector. i collect late 19th century weapons and some other stuff. i currently have a broken mosin nagant 1891/30 that i was thinking of deactivating and turning into a replica tusken raider rifle.
I notice that tusken rifles are either old turkish style or late 19th century bolt action rifles. i have a surplus of parts from various rifles and i was thinking of cobbling a replica out of a mixture from various parts. to decorate it i was thinking of getting some brass sheets and cutting out designs. i'd nailing them on the stock over the damaged part.
any thoughts hints or ideas?
