This is my new bedroom inspired by Flynn's safehouse in Tron:Legacy.
I used about half a year to build this.
Here are some photos when it was under construction:
The ceiling and the bookshelf were finished, and the light steel keel floor was under construction:
The ceiling and the bookshelf are wood structure covered with drywall.
The light steel keel floor with lights:
There are more than 50 lights and 200 wires under the frosted tempered glass floor.
The room door:
The door is customized because its shape.
The drywall doorframe and the wardrobe:
The wardrobe was bought online, then modified with wood line and painted into dark color.
The wardrobe doors can open above the bed even if the bed is very close to it.
Almost finished:
Construction completed:
There are lights above the bed, the desk, the bedside cabinet and the bookshelf. So I need no desk lamps.
The long bookshelf is above the bed and the desk.I can reach my novels from the bed and reach my videos and games from the desk very easy.
I put a side table, a chair and a floor lamp in the room corner. So I can have a cup of tea while reading books in there. And, if a guest visits my room, he/she can have a seat.
