TRON Legacy - Flynn's Arcade 1:12 scale diorama

If you really need accurate measurements for the bricks, I live about 5 miles from the original building and can take a measurement for you next week.
Just checking, how did it go, did you find the time to stop at the building ?

Nothing new for CB2001 here.. lol, but reference pictures for me.

The pillars are exactly 8'6" tall. The face of the tiles are 24" wide and 11 7/8" tall. The mortar is 1/4"

The bricks are 2 3/4" tall and the mortar is the same 1/4"

I hope this helps

EXCELLENT. Thank you so much. I guess I need to start my work on the blueprint rev.2 :)

The height of the brick is different from the Wiki info since Wiki states that the standard is 2 1/4" (69.85 mm) high while you measured 2 3/4" (57.15 mm) so I wonder how that impact the other measurements for the brick.

According to this site: http://www.hansonbrick.com/english/products/sizes_coursing_us.php there are 3 types of the one you measured.

1. 2 3/4" x 7 5/8" x 3" - Queen Modular
2. 2 3/4" x 7 5/8" x 3 1/2" - Engineer Modular
3. 2 3/4" X 8 3/4" X 2 3/4" - Princess

I will try to check in photoshop which length it is based upon the height.

Back now after some measurement and fitting tests in Photoshop and the only brick type that fits length and depth is the Engineer Module. Since I use Google maps to get screen print, I will go by what visually looks accurate- So even if the red brick that I drew is a bit taller than what I map out, I will go for the length and depth since they are rather spot on.

Using the 119 bricks estimated height + mortar 1/4" high, I get a total building height of:

(69.85 + 6.53 mm) x 119 = 9067.8 millimetre = 906.78 centimetre = 9.0678 metre OR 29'9" (ft'in")

1:12 scale: 75.565 cm or 2'5.75" which is damned close to my estimated 76.** cm .. he he

So there we go. The 1:12 scale brick is now: 16.13 L x 7.93 D x 5.81 H (mm) or 0.635 L x 0.312 D x 0.228 H (inch)

Thank you Jedifyfe for your contribution. it was a great help since I had to adjust.

Those are the tokens I was talking about. You snagged them? If so, sweet!
It was actually an auction on ebay last week. I did not plan to purchase the ARG since they are so rare and figured it would take ages and quite a bit of money getting my hands on them, but as it turns out, they popped up when I did a search and since I now have them, I can reveal that they cost me $59,- + shipping and VAT, so all in all $125,-
I have no clue on the estimated value, but since there are only a few hundred sets out there, it got to be an increasing amount, but I am not planing on selling them, but include it in the diorama which will contain the Lightcycle Battle and other items from the movie, so in the end, it will be a large and very special collection.

But didn't you get a hold of the ARG tokens a while back ?

Yeah, the ARG tokens were given to scavenger hunters early in the ARG (sometime after the first San Diego event).

No, I don't have the ARG tokens (I've got some items from the ARG, but at the time of the scavenger hunt that involved the coins, I was in the middle of class at Full Sail, so I wasn't able to participate). The coins I got was from the California Adventure.

The ordinary arcade tokens I included in the picture?
