Tron Legacy: Flynn Lives

Just 'cause.

And in 3D!!! Man, look at the curves on....that couch! :lol And don't get me started on the stitching on the cushions!!

Ted! :lol

Got my badge yesterday; it's really neat! I love this "in-universe" stuff. No new clues at the Encom website yet.

the only thing that may allude to the next event is the Encom meeting in less than three weeks. Plus, there is a picture of San Francisco in that same blurb. Hmmmm....

Not enough for me. It's not about the razzle-dazzle or pretty people. It's about the story.

It's icing on the cake....and I LOVE cake, but not as much as pie! Shoot, now I'm hungry!! Seriously, she's an important enough character that she's in the prequel (The upcoming video game)

I thought of that, too. It'd blow hugely though if you could only use the badge in SF.

Yes, I love cake too. But don't you want a cake that fulfilling as well as delicious? I know I do.

It remains to be seen whether the cake will be filling. Wait a second, what were we talking about?

To be serious for a moment, I can't judge her performance or her character based on a 5 second appearance. I don't think anyone can. The character has enough legs (and what beautiful legs indeed!) to warrant additional exposure in the video game, so someone thinks the character has value.

Anyone wonder about "real world" events in the Encom Server Universe? Dust in the air, the light car "burning rubber", the rubberized suits with EL lighting.... sort of like a virtual reality for humans, not a "computer" world per se.

It's a virtual representation of real world phenomenon. There are even weather systems in this digital world. I was a little bothered by the light runners burning rubber, but I'm not sure why.

I wonder if they are meaning Wonder Con in San Fransisco? time frame s right for april 2-4 hrmm.

Color me intrigued! Hopefully, we'll uncover more clues soon! If it's like last year's event at Comic Con, Flynn's Arcade, the event will coincided with the Con, but not held at the Con. That way, people aren't penalized for not attending the Con.

Since many of us have our Encom badges and have logged into the Encom intranet site. Has anyone attempted to respond back to any of the e-mails? Yeah, I know the e-mails are read-only, but who says we have to reply through the intranet site?

Since we have each senders e-mail account names, I made a big assumption that their external e-mail address would have "@encominternational.com" at the end. For example, Alan Bradley's e-mail addy would be "AB_EXEC_LVL@encominternational.com"

I replied to all the e-mails from my personal e-mail account and they didn't bounce back, so we'll see if anything comes of it.

Below is a snapshot of the e-mails on the encom intranet site and the each senders account names.

Still waiting for my badge :cry

Patience, my friend. The United States Postal Service is taking care of it, unfortunately, they're not as fast as a light cycle.

If you're really impatient, you may want to submit for another badge and have it sent to a friend's address in the US? Then, have your friend send it to you in Germany? Just a thought.

Got my badge last night :)

Took 3 days.

But as it appears it was sent from San Diego, and I am in San Diego (Looks to be a PO box about 20 miles from me)

Not bad.

Awesome.

Question, has anyone figured out this puzzle on the main page of Flynn Lives? You click on items and you keep clicking through a menu and get a percentage at the end. I've gotten up to 27% but haven't figured out the pattern yet.

Well, the light-cycle comparison made me chuckle, thanks for that - hmm, maybe I should ask flynnlives.com if they sent it out. But then, I read on another forum, that an italian is also waiting for his to arrive.
