Hello my prop building brethren,
So I'm mildly obsessed with TRON LEGACY, as many are, and I'm trying to get my hands on some of the hexagonal fabric used for the base bodysuits in the movie. I'm also looking for a pair of the TRON HURLEY BOARDSHORTS manufactured around the time of the movie...can't find them on eBay or anywhere else.
I know there was discussion on here of having the fabric custom printed, which just seems outrageous expensive and difficult to make, so I'm wondering if anyone out there has alternative suggestions. I'm a huge TRON fan and have made a lot of my own clothes inspired by the film, and I have designs for a shirt, jacket and shorts (though I'd prefer just doing the Hurley pair and making life easy on myself). If anyone could share their own wisdom/experience/sources for procuring costume bits or rare pieces, post them here! Halloween is coming and I need to come up with something soon!
