Wow First Post,
Well I was commissioned to make a Trixie Wand -so I wanted to do it right, its made from walnut wood and hand carved and weathered/stained/carved by hand. They were very pleased, but I wanted to know how close to the actual movie prop wand I was. These two are ones I made extra for my collection and my wife wanted one as well. Maybe someone who owns a noble collection one could give me some specs.
I used mainly you tube ( Noble collection vids- there are a lot of them) for my research, and guessed on the size. Which is approx. 13" from tip of wand straight across to bottom of the handle. The carvings were also made from you tube screen captures/sketches I made. I really like how these turned out. I am currently building about fifteen different wands at the moment and will post more pics. I have about four feet of walnut board left over and if there were enough people interested I could make a batch of these in the future.
