anyone got $830 to spend? Theres a screen used one on ebay!

something about it looks off though, wrong color, so it might have been a stunt.

Looks okay to me.
It's on a white background under intense white lights, so I would bet that it would look much darker in a "normal" setting.

The bigger the better...;)

:lol Big enough? :eek:lol I got the book today... There is a destinctive line, that goes round three sides of the cube in the last pic, we can start form here getting the sides correct.

wow awesome! Any chance you could use the descreen filter when you scan that?

I got that book as well. Why do pictures in books always look like a series of dots and circles when blown up?

because that is how print is made, the dots per inch, dpi, determin its resolution, and to the naked eye, the dots blend the colors together to create the image.

Mehhh! I've found out, that the Movie Guide doesn't show the full side of the cube, they've cutted it a bit - I can't put the sides properly together...

Here's a mock-up of the cube orientation from all the images we have so far.

The Black and gold image was used as the underlay but is incorrect. That image seems to be slightly different from the 2 reference cubes and screencap we've seen.

F is the wrong orientation compared the the reference cube and side A is where side D is. Side D doesn't seem to exist and G is in it's place.

Confusing but I made a small cube using the bottom orientation (which I believe is correct) and all the sides match up.

I'd be just as happy with a nice replica. :lol At least the money is going to chairity. One heck of a tax write off.

It would have been cool if they would have used the ladiesman handle from the movie, Especially for the glasses auction LOL

I know the money is going to charity which is great, but doesn't it bother you that more and more stuff like this now ends up in private collections where it'll likely never be seen again? Sorry for the slight detour.

Isn't that the case with all movie props?

I hope Ramiel gets his computer fixed soon!! I was all excited when I diagrammed the cube but the ball stopped rolling!
