Re: Kelsey grammer cast as new transformers villain

Always loved Kelsey Grammer! "Frasier" is one of my fav shows - still holds its own today! I think he'll be a wonderful addition to the Transformers series. He was wonderful in "Boss" - a completely different role from Frasier.

All the more reason to see it! :)

Transformers 4

They will officially begin filming late July early August to Transformers 4 in downtown Detroit!!!

I disagree with the "no talent hack" comment. Bad Boys, and Bad Boys 2 were awesome films. He has an amazing eye for action sequences, car chases, etc.

Re: Transformers 4 to film in china with chinese cast

Movie Pictures | Movie Posters - Yahoo! Movies

Apparently they just plan on making movies for china at this point.

Well, it is a huge market and it's cheaper to film over there, esp. when the government is probably subsidizing the production too. The other benefit is that a lot of our action style movies are pretty new to the Chinese masses in general without a lot of prior knowledge of the franchise so it makes movies like Transformers an easy sell over there.

Age Of Extinction, maybe Dinobots? Pacific Rim size Dinobots? maybe.................

They have confirmed three of the Dinobots, Grimlock, Slug & Swoop.

Slug had his named changed from Slag for PC reasons.

I wonder if they're going to pull the same "The Transformers have been with us the whole time!" schtick like they did the last three movies as a hook. First it was Megatron in the hoover dam that gave us cars and cell phones, than it was the Transformers knowing us since ancient times by building the pyramids, than it was transformers on the moon which was the basis for the whole Apollo program. What's this one going to be? The Dino Bots crashing onto Earth millions of years ago that resulted in Dinosaurs becoming extinct? Maybe the fifth movie will establish that the Earth itself was a transformer all along.

I think Hasbro has changed Slag's name to Slug for several modern iterations of the dinobots, so it's not really exclusive to the Michael Bay film.
