Tool question: a good router for occassional use?

I"m thinking it's time to get a router for our basement shop. I don't want to sink a ton into it as it won't be used a ton but mostly for rounding off corners. i have the dremel router setup but that think scares me it's so funky. Anyone have suggestions? I don't need a high power either.

Royobi makes good ones! There's one and eBay with 10 min left for $22!!!! I highly recommend that brand!!!

They are $139.00 new! I would try to get that "gently" used one!!! It looks clean.

Not going to recommend a specific model or brand, but will recommend looking at routers that can plunge as well. Nice for grooves, circles, etc.

Sorry for the late response. The subscription for the thread hasn't told me i had responses. It'd mostly for doing roundover of corners on props i think as i can't do it perfectly by hand to save my life. I'd feel better if the dremel one was sturdier. I should see about maybe making a small router table for it. I bought 2 bit sets and never used them so far. I found some plans online for making better tables for the dremel as a router and mini table saw and turns out the plunge router base went down in price so at least i have options while i shop around.
