I'd never heard or seen them before, I just assumed they were props made for the film.
I'm looking forward to seeing these.

what were the 'original' memory cards? (before re-dressing)

You can see the blue section is a sticker placed on the cards.
I believe they are the Sony SxS memory cards, which run anywhere between $ 450 to $ 1200 a card.
Odd thing, blue is video, orange is data. There are some "cheaper" cards available if you look around.

A little cheaper than retail on eBay as seen here, there are cheaper cards out there running about 25 and up. :
