Tommy gun violin case (need input!)

That's extremely surprising. I looked at getting a suppressor several years ago and the turn around times I heard was 6 months minimum, with 12-18 months possible.

That was also before my state passed a law that the sheriff/chief law enforcement officer who has to sign off on the application had to have an actual reason to reject it. Before that, they could just reject an application because they didn't want to sign it, didn't like suppressors/autos/SBR's, or even just didn't like you as an applicant.
They've eliminated that requirement in GA, you no longer have to have your sheriff sign off because what if he's anti-2nd?
Now I live in Coweta county that's a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary county. Yeah, but that was a problem in some counties in Atlanta people having their rights squashed.

The new eForms system has really sped up the process. Another thing that's been speeding up the process, funny you mention it, is that ATF has abolished CLEO signatures. You simply mail your CLEO a copy of your paperwork along with a letter to "inform" them. They have no say in the matter anymore and you don't have to wait weeks or months until they feel like signing your papers and sending them back. It's been quite the game changer.
