I heard that there was some kind of officially licensed "pattern" for Tom Baker's scarf from the BBC or something. It tells how many rows of each color are needed. Does anybody have this?

The 'official' BBC pattern was, if I recall, inaccurate.

All the info on the scarves, instructions & patterns for the various versions are available here: http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/index.php

Great resource! As much as I dislike the burgundy 'season 18' costume, I do like the scarf from it!

Knittinghelp.com. Has videos for everything.

The Who scarf looks daunting, but its only one simple stitch. Knit stitch all the way through :)

i might be able to find out as my wife actuazly knitted them, with her mum while she worked at the bbc in the costume department
