Hello everyone!
I am working on an 80's version of Metalhead from the original TMNT cartoon. A rather ambitious project, but I have come up with some great ideas from many of you that have created robots and similar armors from EVA foam.
I want to stay true to the cartoon, but am also using the actual toy as a reference.
Can anyone recommend a good material that is see-through, but only one way? I have an idea for the mask/eyes, but want to improve my field of vision. I was thinking a thick mesh screen. Something that is mostly solid and paintable, but perforated enough that I can see out.
Any input is appreciated. I'll definitely be posting photos as I progress. Trying to do some cardboard mockups before I cut any foam/wood/metal.
THANKS!
