Re: TJack's Amazing Spiderman 2 Faceshell and Lenses Combo *Kits available* see post
Based on feedback from past customers, there are 3 main "trouble spots" when trying to put this kit together. One is getting the frames shaped correctly, two is getting the lenses to sit flush against the shell, and by far the most challenging part of assembling this kit is the white mesh.
I've decided to offer up with another option that makes assembly much easier, however it does compromise the accuracy a bit. On the top is the new option and below is the current mesh.

With the new option I have attached the white vinyl (same stuff I use on most the lenses here http://www.therpf.com/f13/spiderman-lenses-amazing-raimi-comic-custom-new-lens-option-179568/) directly to the lens prior to vacuforming them. This means there are no wrinkles along the edges or the need to make small cuts as I know some have done when doing the pop bottle method.
The aluminum mesh I provide in the current kit is to help hide your eyes even more and when painted black it will help reduce glare. Most people have told me that they tend not to use the mesh anyhow. The nice thing about the vinyl is that it's black on the reverse side so it already helps reduce glare. What this also means is that you only need 1 dome per eye making the lenses sit "flatter" against the frame and therefore they will also sit more flush against the shell.
As a final option (and this has always been available), you can choose to get rubber frames instead of plastic. This takes away the need to heat and shape the frames, however it makes it harder to get a shiny black finish like the movie frames have.
If you choose to select the new option, I will also take $30 off the price of the kit since you don't require the aluminum mesh or 2nd set of domes. Again you sacrifice some accuracy but will save yourself some headaches
Hopefully some of you will find this helpful.
