Tintin - Moonrocket 3,5ft high

Hi Deco333,

Thanx for your question, but i checked the molds recently. And unfortunately they are too old, so for the time being i will not be offering any castings.

Sorry,
Wasili

Hello all, I just came across this thread and found it very interesting.
I built myself a moonrocket and made some molds to make others for the nephews!

Thanks for the feed-back!
It is made of epoxy-fiberglass, in fiberglass molds. Each leg is made of two parts joined in the mold and body is the same.
I made the masters for the molds in polystirene and fiberglass - was a loooong work to get good result.
I'll upload some pics of the build.
Would someone be interested in a ´kit'?

I would love to have one, but i'm guessing i would not be able to afford one :) But love to see the build pictures :)

Hi Wasili, great build well done. I don't have room for a 4 ft model but would love to build a smaller version. Where can I find plans to work from?

Hi Atesta,

Thx. Already 11 years ago i build them. Time flies. I used the bookcover of the first book as a start for the blueprints. The same as in my Post#1 in this thread. Good luck and post your builds.

Cheers,
Wasili
