:lol

Looks like Chessur got in the way!!!:eek

Something that just dawned on me, I work at a newspaper and so if anyone can get me a nice big high resolution pic of the majority of the oraculum I can have it printed out in all its huge high resolution glory. We have a machine we use for posters. . . . just a thought. . .

i noticed that to Aelynn. Chad and i were talking about it a few nights ago
im just going to wear my black Ballet Tights under it and put the socks on over them ^^

then i dont need to worry about people flipping up my MAN-SKIRT!!!

:confusedPerv! :confused:wacko

Oooooooooooooh! Jealoussssssssss!!!

Your Alice is SO CUTE! I envy her for her cuteness and being able to wear your amazing creations. :|

Oh, and for those Warrior Hatters...something I ( probably shouldn't have ) noticed tonight...the Hatter doesn't have bare legs under his kilt. Oh, gosh...I really did try to think of a way to word that that doesn't make me sound like a creeper. I swear it was more that I noticed how much his kilt floufs out during the Futterwacken ( I love things that flouf when you spin! I'm a girly girl! ) and the 'hey he still has pants on' was an after-thought.

Ok, I'm only making this worse. But now you know.

I decided how I'm going to weather my teapot.
First, I'm going to hit it with a couple dull coats, to decrease the shine for accuracy, and to preserve the design.
Then, I'll give it a general weathering, also attempting to get a closer light brown tint.
Finally, I'm going to paint on the cracklines. I know, the real one's were likely cracked, but I don't think I want to do that to a genuine pot, and how would I ensure accurate cracks?

Nickytea! I was thinking of making some sort of sticker that resembled cracks to stick onto the teapot!

I was also thinking of enamel paint!

the only problem with breaking it is you cant ensure every part will be a nice big chunk
those little bits are imposable to place again

that and youd need some hard core epoxy to make sure it wont fall apart again

Woo hoo!

One of my wishes came true today! This site has a pic of the sketch Johnny did for his vision of the Mad Hatter. I love the side by side with Burtons vision...those two really are close friends! HA!

Apparently the visual guide/companion ( i cant remember which the big, good one is referred to ) is out in the US already, apparently. I, here in Canada, have to wait til April 6 to get it. :( Look like it'll be packed full of great reference pics and just interesting shots overall. Can't wait!

Aweomse!
My VC copy should be here tomorrow or Friday.

My sister just saw the movie. Loved it. Wants to be Um Alice.
Anyone got any leads. :lol

Before or after she got clothes?:lol
No, seriously, could you imagine if she would make a dress out of fake leaves and roses? That would be really original!

I want that cat head on a stick....

EDIT - I've got Tim Burton's NERF gun. Awsome behind the scenes prop. :D :lol

EDIT - Any one have any pics./ know anyone who has received the Costumebase MH coat? I like the look of the back, the front looks like it has a "round belly" shape to it....

My friend took a sharp knife top and scratched in the cracks to replicate the ones on the real prop. Then he took dirt and rubbed it in and it actually looked good.

Ooo...I like that one more as well....It never has showed up in my search results because it's "jacket" and not "coat". :lol

Unfortunatly, I gotta buy something "ready to go" because no one around here does ANY custom clothing/sewing. :(

You gotsta also think what your budget will be as well! You could simply mod the ..............coat......................and make it more SA.:love
