Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

Oh I just had an inspiration! My daughter Cordelia will be 10 months by October and she will be the perfect scale for my Alice!!!! I wonder if someone can make her the shrinking dress!!? My wife will most likely be the Queen and my son will be the White Rabbit!

I've never been to Disney World...Been to Disney LAND several times though. :D

Sith, she said she would "give me credit". So that'd better be to my card, and not their store. :lol :p ;)

Just got back from the movie! I was not disappointed :) Sure there are a few lines and a few scenes I would have liked to have seen done differently, and I thought the movie moved along a little too fast, but overall I thought it was pretty good. Got some ideas for a few new props as well! :D

i just got back too
LOVED IT!
got to start workin on my Futterwacken

but get this the Manager of the Theartre loved my costume so much he asked if i could come back Saturday and Sunday for there Tea Party
now i really wish i had fished my coat in time

Padawan, That's great!! Glad to hear you loved it and had so much fun as Hatter!

I'm so So SO INCREDIBLY excited for tonight. Atm, my hair is RIDICULOUSLY curly. As in...the curliest I've ever had it in my entire life. I'm actually hoping it settles a bit before the movie...LOL But at least I've improved one thing for myself for the second wearing. :D

I added a few of the missing hatpins to Travis' hat, as ghetto as they are. Made from shishkabob sticks and craft foam. :lol Last minute additions just to fill space. Literally, I made them last night and this morning. At least there's something resembling the missing pins we had. XD

On to fixing up his wig and globbing up the back of the coat ( which was never done before ) ! SO incredibly excited to see it again! The Niagara Falls cineplex is always incredibly positively receptive of our costumes and we have SO much fun...well...except that time we went with a crew of pirates and got banned from the mall...but other than that ! Everyone will die when they see these, I just know they're expecting it from us too. :lol

Can't wait to see more pics from everyone!! :D

So was it worth all that hard work, late nights, all nighters, bloody fingers, finger cramps???? I need motivation here people!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I have 48 more hours since we are going on Saturday to the El Capitan 24 hours before the Oscars!!!

I just saw a decent replica mad hatter hat from toynk toys. There are two versions to suit your wallet.

This is not me advertising just sharing.

This is why I hate when the officially licensed CR@PPACINO comes out!! It doesn't do the movie versions justice and it seems to cheapen all of our hard work!!! The bloody hat pins don't even look like the movie version. Also the pattern doesn't even resemble the movie version!!!

The cheaper version looks more like the movie version. At least they got the pattern and the gold thread correct....even though it is just printed.

Here is the rest of the stuff!

I think I will stick with my "custom built" stuff!!!

LOL!!!

Aww...but they ARE good for people who aren't as talented as the bunch of us are, you have to admit. They'll make a lot of people happy during Halloween who otherwise wouldn't have ANYTHING looking like the movie hat, at least these get the gist of it. :)

That Red Queen fro on the other hand..................................:lol

True! These costumes are good for the non low life "Queen of Hearts" followers! The "commoners!"

It is like when all the different versions of Captain Jack costume pieces came out it truly cheapened the custom made stuff! Made me wonder for about 5 minutes "Why do I put all this hard work into my costumes?" That changed real quick though at Halloween!!!!!

I'm shocked that there aren't action figures released for this movie. Seems like a massive missed opportunity.

There are. There are a few Tonner dolls at the $150+ price range, a couple collectors Barbies at the $50 range and a couple all plastic ones by....I can't remember....but there are. :)

I should have been more specific when I said "action figures."

I mean ACTION FIGURES. :lol
Something, say, in the 3 3/4" scale that would allow for the release of all the minor characters and varients. It's a movie that begs for TOYS. Not collectable dolls.

Forget collecting, I want to play with them~! There's nothing like tearing a bubble off a crisp carback. I just like toys. As cool as the Hot Toys hatter is, are you really going to want to wrech him around to reenact the futterwacken?

UGH! Banana yellow! YUCK!

By the way if ANY of you want the $19.99 MH hat that is sold at Disneyland just let me know....PLEASE don't pay the "Outlandish" prices on eBay or some of the other resellers! It is highway robbery!!!
