TIE Killer based on DaveG open source

Re: Open source Y-Wing (DaveG)

Another small update.

I didn't realize one of the parts had fallen off before I put in rubber, oh well lesson learned, and I purposely left the spots above the otaki P-51struts bare since I don't know what goes there.

Re: Open source Y-Wing (DaveG)

Looks Fantastic! Did you have to mod it much to fit into Dave's cockpit? It looks like a good fit from your photo.

Re: Open source Y-Wing (DaveG)

Thanks Mike. I didn't really trim much before molding since its easier/cheaper to do that with a cast so it defiantly needs to be cut down, mostly on the bottom and sides.

Re: Open source Y-Wing (DaveG)

Inspiring!

I never noticed the Heinkel He 177 strut on the top of the neck in the little crevice before until I saw it on yours. Low and behold, there it is when I went and looked at my reference!

Thanks Mike. Yeah, there is stuff crammed everywhere. There's more on the other side too, it looks like it's the same part that's under the I-19 on the back end.

Edit here's the part.

I don't mean the hose on the left but the piece under it.

Looks really familiar as in something I built as a kid, civil aircraft undercarriage, Boeing 747?
