I totally agree! Even though I like Superman a lot, Thor is my all time favorite! The Hammer...that's all I need to say!!!

Anyway, I'm a little astonished that the vast majority of people think the Captain America teaser looks better than the Thor stuff. The Cap footage seen thus far looks like it has all the scope of Crystal Skull. It has that same soundstage/green screen feel. Small.

I'll hold final judgement until I've seen them both, but Thor looks like it will crush Captain America.
 
Thor would crush superman.

Joss Whedon has his work cut out for him. Iron Man 1 and 2 were AWESOME. Thor looks AWESOME! Captan America has only shown glimpses, but has potential. The Incredible Hulk was not exactly awesome, but I thought it was great. I hate that Edward Norton is going to be replaced by Mark Ruffalo. He is a good actor, but I would have liked the continuity of Norton being there.
I suppose if they can change Rhodey in Iron Man and get away with it, they might be able to pull it off. The only one truly irreplaceable so far would appear to be Robert Downey Jr.

Y'know, I got the same exact impression you got with that soundstage/Crystal Skull vibe, particularly in that shot where they're walking into that warehouse or whatever it was.

It's just a kneejerk feeling right now and I may feel differently when they release a full Captain America trailer but so far, I'm actually more excited about Thor.
 
All of the Marvel movies have had a little scene at the end after the credits that hints at and links to the other Marvel movies.
I wonder what will be after the credits of Thor?
 
The "button" (as they seem to be calling those after-credits scenes) on Thor obviously won't be Green Lantern since it's owned by DC Comics :p

Probably something that will help lead into the Avengers.
 
I'll bite...Green Lantern is DC. ^^^beaten^^^

I hope Captain America turns out "bigger" than the 30 second spot seems to indicate. There's a whole lot more movie than that.

I PRAY that the standard Mjolnir text from the comics isn't on the movie hammer. I never really liked that, as it felt a bit cheesy to me.

Maybe they'll have Thor say the line out loud. I can imagine that will get the geeks to cheer insanely.

Its a moviue based on a comic about a norse god of thunder. Cheese is totally allowed. That has GOT to be written on the hammer. It will totally fit. In Branagh I trust! lol
