Been slowly putting a small collection together of this landmark series starting with one of the best value and quality props ive come across for a while, sctcarts Mulder Wallet and ID set.
Replaced the excellent resin badge from the wallet with a metal version and made use of the resin one by placing it on a cheap badge holder from another project and all together make a great ID set.
The Toombs files are very well done and full of content but ive since found after checking here that the originality of their origin may be in dispute so will leave that there.
To me, the most significant props to come from the series were the cell phones and how they became such a driving force behind the storylines, probably the first to use them as a story telling tool. After some research of other peoples research narrowed down the three phones used by Mulder during the series to the Nokia 101, Nokia 232 and the Nokia 6160M. Tracking down cheap versions of these phones wasnt too hard but i had to get the North American models as i found that there are some slight keypad marking differences on phones from different parts of the world.
The flyer came from the Propstore and at $60 was a good enough deal to be my first and only "production" prop. Finished things off with a pack of Morleys from Indy Magnoli. Apart from a replica of Mulders sidearm, the few things i got cover all the bases as far as a collection for me goes.
