It was just reported this morning that a trade deal was struck and the tariff is going down to 10% soon.
This is incorrect, from what I am seeing:
A White House official told NBC News that the 55% figure isn’t new, as it reflects the 30% tariffs implemented this year in addition to pre-existing duties totaling 25%.
China has a 10% tariff on items coming from the US.
So, it sounds like no change, from the current levels.

Well shiet!
It shouldn't matter for Tricorders that are already in country that according to Chris will be $415 and supposedly that is already in the thousands, so if Amazon ever gets off of their behinds and gets moving we should be able to buy them within the next few hundred years.

That was an interesting article on shipping holdups with Amazon- sounds to me like some mid Amazon dude was telling wand it should be in the system in 4 days when the reality is it can take up to 24 days unless you use the double secret magic Amazon shipping system.
Kind of what ive been suspecting or my more sinister theory that the problem is ttyl to run the job through one of americas most corrupt cities - Chicago!!!! Duh-duh-duhhhh
