The Walking Dead Season 9

I have to admit I enjoyed Rick's final episode, the time jump, Judith, and this week's intro of The Whisperers, and hey, Rick Jr. was a big surprise.

Plenty I didn't like of course, but I'm just going to try and enjoy being interested in the new storyline for as long as possible.

Yeah, Aaron is looking just like Rick. Works for me since I really like that actor, and character.

Waiting for the scene where Negan is sitting in his cell with the door open, and to the surprise of everybody says he won't leave because he loves Judith.

Not terribly interested in what they are doing with Daryl, but I suspect he's the one who will end up dealing with The Whisperers first, finding out what they are, etc.

The Colt Python is indeed a 357mag/38special revolver. Colt made something that looks similiar in 44, it's called The Anaconda. I would suspect Judith is firing 38 special rounds through the Python. I fired my first 38 when I was 10 years old, and the recoil was not a big deal. Though it's a fantasy show. They could have Judith firing a smith 500 magnum one handed in full auto while crowd surfing on walkers, and yelling "My Daddy was Rick Grimes you slack jawed screw heads!" and I would not be surprised. In fact . . .

;)

I thought I swore I heard Shane talking to rick about some “44 mag” rounds, and figured that’s what it fired

I also thought how it would be harder to find ammo for it once the apocalypse hit

Glad it is in fact a 357

Unfortunately in my state this revolver is not complaint :(

Alittle off topic, but does anyone know if the revolver chief hopper uses in stranger things is in fact the same revolver rick uses? It looks the same, just maybe a 5” barrel instead of 6”?

Last night's episode was again, better than I expected it to be. Directed by former victim of Lucille, Michael Cudlitz. I think he did a pretty good job. Funny how people though the show would not work without Rick, and I'm finding it to be more interesting without him. But I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the whisperers now that I know who's playing Alpha, and who's playing Beta.

So what's up with the X scar somebody going around stealing kidneys ? Lol

It's funny too , they recently found a Neanderthal cave with cave paintings and musical instruments so it wasn't art that made homosapian special , we just good at wiping out civilizations i guess . It's like our special talent as a species .

why does Daryl still have a loud bike they are loud so people hear and therefore see them on the road . In the zombie apocalypse pretty sure you want to be quiet . Put a muffler on that bike fool .

At this point shouldn't most of the dead be too decomposed to walk around its not like there are thousands of fresh zombies every day or month.
it would ruin the show i guess , never mind !

I believe , I really do .

Yet again, a hoard of ninja zombies managed to creep up on our heroes yet again and they have to fight their way out of trouble. After how many years, you’d have thought that they would have come up with Walker strategies to deal with them.

yeah but these are living people mixed among the dead controlling the herds movements .

but yeah you think they would have noise makers like kitchen timers or alarm clocks they could deploy and that would attract the walkers while they escaped .

Daryl discovers his dog tied up and under attack from walkers, runs over and pulls out his big knife and quickly begins to carefully untie the dog!
I just watch for the laughs now.

pretty sure im all done with the show now.. half way through it i gave up and went to bed. just not interested in it anymore... :(

Did I miss something? How do you know this?

And did I miss what happened to Maggie?

The Hollywood Reporter has published articles on who has been cast, it's on social media, etc. I follow one of the actors, and it's on IMDB if you look at the episode guide for the midseason finale.

I won't post who the actors are in this thread, because I don't want to spoil it for anybody who might not want to know yet.

The actress who plays Maggie has been cast in a new series (Whiskey Cavalier) and wanted to leave. She's also making movies. I think the writers wanted to leave it open for her to return if the new show doesn't work out. Or maybe they just didn't feel like killing her off. Not sure.

My sister is convinced that Daryl and Michonne have the exact same X scar. I said I think it's just to show they've been through a lot.

I hope Daryl leaves and films over in the UK with rick.. them not together anymore just doesn’t feel right...

I am over the show myself. I would rather they spin off into a new series and take it in a new direction. I agree, it would be great if it just followed Rick and Daryl... and as you stated, they could film over in the UK.

I'm kind of confused where all the hostility came from. Michonne didnt want to go to Hilltop. The lady with the bow on the wall putting out a cunty vibe. Same with Tara. Thought they were all friends? Did I miss something? Where did all the attitude come from?
