Nah, he will use the poorly repaired antique plow from the museum and a broken off piece will hit him in the head.
Or some other unlogical wierd thing will happen.

I think Daryl will take out Rick. One for his ideology now, and two for leaving Merle to die on the roof top. Which he's never let go of.

For how secretive they have always been with this whole series, giving away at all that Andrew Lincoln was leaving BEFORE this season opened was incredibly stupid to do.
It was even further stupified that they said how many more episodes he had left.
THEN the cherry was pretty much spoiling a lot of the next episode right after it went to black.
They should have killed him off and THEN had him on Talking Dead to announce his shocking departure. THAT is how you do it. This way is sloppy and, sorry to be redundant..... STUPID.

Exactly !
They justified it by saying everyone knew because of leaks on Twitter and whatnot .
I think the truth is they are trying to get there ratings up by calling there shots.
It wouldn't help them at all to actually write a good episode and kill Rick off in a surprising way which is or was the hallmark of the show if no one was watching it .
I think there trying anything they can to get viewers back .

I'm hoping that will be the ultimate end .
Rick gets sent off as an A or whatever to the helicopter folks and in the final season of the show a cure is found by the newly created government . As news trickles down to our group via a newspaper or air dropped pamphlet . It has a picture of Rick as the man with the cure in his blood .
they get the news just as Daryl gets bit and is about to kill himself . A helicopter dropped leaflets with news of the cure .
Woohoo Daryl is saved !!!!

Yeah, I don't buy them saying it couldn't have been kept secret. They kept Nick's death a secret on Fear and that was a major bomb drop. Granted, that show is not the juggernaut that this one is/was, but I can't remember the last time I literally jumped out of my chair and screamed "Noooooo!" like I did for that one.
So, obviously Rick is going to lead the herds away and he is dying. The question is, how will he go out? Will someone find him and give him a mercy killing, will he blow his own brains out, or will we simply never see him again? Do you think they would have the guts to let Rick actually turn? Perhaps he does and maybe Daryl catches up to him and has to put him down.
Next thing is the stuff with Negan. I thought Maggie was also leaving the show. Is she or isn't she? If she is, I figure Michone will have to take her out in order to save Negan. I have to say I agree with Daryl and Maggie on this one. Rick and Michone's whole "we can't let him become a martyr" is ridiculous. Keeping him alive isn't helping or hindering anything. That guy should have been executed a long time ago.

The whole thing of letting everyone know that Rick was going to die was to get more ratings, that is all. I actually get it from that standpoint but if they had kept a lid on this and then BAM! Rick is dead! This would have actually brought people back! I remember when the show first came on no one had any idea who was going to die from week to week but now they tell you weeks or even months ahead of time. They did it with Carl as well. To any of the "old timers" on here, remember M.A.S.H. when Col. Henry Blake had been discharged, gets on a plane to go home and dies in a plane crash before getting home. THAT was storytelling and to this day still has an impact on me. That was kept secret and not told months ahead of time.
