The Walking Dead - Season 6 Discussion

im just saying if this was real and not t.v. logic then when rick stabbed the zombie in the head and cut his hand on a blade that has zombie blood all over it.

for one every time someone stabs a zombie we see blood splash out. rick is allowed to have cut his hand on a dirty bloody knife and splash zombie blood all over the wound and be fine?
why did he stare at the wound pick up the talkie hesitate then put it down for a second before he talked to anyone .

if they have Glenn be alive even though we see his face fully exposed . Annie had less zombies around her and they found her face quick enough .

you're telling me a zombie bite infects you yet you can pour zombie blood over a wound and be fine that is ridiculous .

the show gave two heads up that Glenn was dying he sent Hershel's watch with the other group and him calling rick dumb azz first conversation with rick and last conversation with rick
and rick seeming a little too worried about his hand along with him seemingly exposing it to walker blood and seeming to hesitate on the talkie makes me think he thinks he could very well be infected .
probably false flags but the are clues that are there .

and the whole everybody is infected and turn when they die no matter what. we should all have understood that since a dude named Romero invented the zombie genre .I still cant believe that was a reveal in the show .

Glenn deserves to die for letting Nicholas live .

and he should feel guilty for Noah's death as well it was two against one pushing on the door if Glenn and Noah would have stopped yelling at nick to stop they could have easily push Noah out into the zombies instead of Noah but they had to "keep there humanity"

well, in all the seasons we seen zombieblood all over the players faces, in thier mouths and in wounds the players had (Rick when being beat up again with band aids all over his face as excample) so i doubt a cut and some zombieblood will turn him.

we will see in next episode :)

ps, Rick does get beat up alot though :p

yeah I noticed and have been ignoring all the zombie blood on there wounds before just the way rick reacted when it first happened and then the walkie talkie hesitation as well

maybe he was trying to remember his lines .

and yeah having a lifted dumpster is a little to conspicuous not to use .

if they are both fine I will be disappointed the shock of losing main characters is supposed to be the shows calling card but it is always the main characters sidekick that gets dead it seems.

and again if a bite turns you but drenching an open wound in nasty walker blood does not then the logic in TWD universe is very flawed .
if I wanted completely implausible cliffhangers ill watch my old flash Gordon serials .

how hard is it to get some sort of distraction device?
they need to steal a box of kitchen timers and pass them out to the whole crew when every time they leave the compound .

It's possible that whatever agent that causes people to die from walker bites is only present in their mouths and not their blood, so it's only a bite that causes death. It's not completely implausible, a perfect example of this is the komodo dragon, while it's not venomous in the sense that it produces venom, its mouth is full of all sorts of nasty bacteria from the bits of flesh from its prey caught in its teeth so that a bite from a dragon will cause eventual death from infection. The same could be the case with walkers, their mouth and teeth could be full of all sorts of nasty bacteria from all of the people they've eaten, so that's why you die from their bites and not exposure to their blood. Of course, if this is true, then (theoretically) a bite from a newly turned walker should be no worse than a bite from a regular person since they wouldn't have had time to feed on anybody or the time for the bacteria to form in their mouths because of the feeding.

Abraham had a cut on his hand and got Walker blood on top of it in Season 5, but didn't turn. I don't know if that means anything or not, but the mention of Rick's hand being cut and walker blood getting on it reminds me of Season 5 and Abraham.

I thought the hesitation on the walkie talkie was him gathering his composure while thinking of Judith since he found that jar of baby food one of the wolves had. He was torn between the urge to head back to Alexandria to help or continue with his current plan

I'm really eaten up about Glenn. Hey-o!

Joking aside, I'm not sure what'll make me more upset--if he's alive or if he isn't. I'm really leaning toward hoping he survives.

Wonder if they have the budget to cut off Rick's hand now?

They probably have the budget, but Kirkman stated that cutting off Rick's hand in the comic was the worst decision he's ever made from a writing standpoint, so the odds of them taking it off from the show are pretty slim.

I like Glen, but I was surprised that I wasn't that bothered by it. If you watched the Talking Dead, you would have thought they had just announced that the President was killed or something. It's just a tv show. I think for me a death on this show isn't a surprise. I was much more affected by the Red Wedding on Game of Thrones because it was totally unexpected (if you didn't read the books), Col. Blake's death on MASH (reruns in the 90s, I'm not that old), or Capt. Sheridan's death on Babylon 5.

I love Kirkman's comment on @ midnight when ask to tell a five word horror story

rest In Peace Daryl Dixon .

maybe they should inject themselves with walker blood it might be the cure and apparently it cant hurt you..

Why focus on the cut hand, maybe it's just a really bad cut and it hurts, maybe he is worried about tetanus ,maybe that is his favorite hand, well now that he has no action with Jessie

Many people mentioned the budget to have Rick without a hand, but they could do it quite cheaply and fit him with something like Merle had. No CGI required to paint it out etc... Just simply slip it on

Heres a closeup up of the end of the scene. You can see the walkers aren't even paying attention to Glenn as he lowers his head and heads under the dumpster
