The Walking Dead - Season 6 Discussion

Just remember the dude sniping isn't Sasha. So he is not likely paying attention as much as he should. For all we know he wasn't even watching the gate / area until screams rang out. Once crap hit the fan inside the fence. He jumped up to his post to fight. There is a lot of grey area missing that wasn't shown. We will all get answers as the show moves along.

I wouldn't even call what that guy did as target shooting, let alone plinking, sniping, etc. He can't hit anything!

yep like I said in a earlier post I have been told I was wrong about the sequence of events (because im stupid?)
and I now agree the wolves took the gate first thing.(by pushing it open and walking through it cuz the towns people are stupid?)
Enid noticed nothing wrong when she passed through the gate (cuz she's stupid ?) .
the wolves drove the truck into the wall instead of an open gate( because there stupid ?)
Morgan refuses to kill people (cuz he's stupid?)
carl has a trendy haircut (cuz he's trendy?)
and there about to be ass deep in zombies cuz rick had an idea. (that was stupid?)

but I guess if nobody made ridiculously stupid decisions then the show would look like the first 5years at Alexandria cocktail parties and cookouts with no trouble what so ever. and the show would be cancelled .

I was hoping for zombie tortoise.

So was I!

You would think they would put some kind of lock on it by now!

Sometimes it seems like there is a bar that they slide forward the goes through a hole in the outer gate, but Morgan sure didn't use it when he closed the gate. It would be effective for zombies, but not so much for humans, and these people haven't really feared humans before.

Some of you seriously need to watch The Talking Dead. Enid is NOT a spy for the Wolves otherwise as stated they would have headed for the armory and had keys to it courtesy of Enid, quit being stubborn. the actress who plays her said Enid will be back and we will be "Pleasantly Surprised".

Carl can't get a haircut because his Dad killed the husband of the lady who cuts hair.

I would have Kept one alive and gone FTWD Ruben Blades for information. General consensus is they're a cult and Morgan did not scare them off with his toothpick.

Agreed. Enid is a red herring. It was odd that they focused so much attention on her. That leads me to believe she has some part to play yet, but definitely not a spy.

On a somewhat related note, did we ever find out you stole Rick's gun that he hid outside Alexandria? I remember the speculation being Enid, but my memory is foggy.

And yes, they should have kept at least one survivor to figure out what they heck they are dealing with. Rick would have for sure.

So Kanasas city shuffle with Enid. Which is fine with me, since I really enjoy twists.

Rick's gun I think it was shown to be taken by the guy who killed Noah an tried to kill Glen. Don't quote me on that tho.

But just cause the talking dead / actress said you'll be surprised doesn't cut it with me. I can be a bit stubborn with it. But that's just be thinking about it. I wouldn't run straight to the armory myself. I'm taken as many ppl out before they can react to the attack. They did end up in the armory anyway..so what's the point? They killed likely half the town by that point. I can't recall if they just knocked on the door like Mary Kay sales ladies or just walked in. Either way, no keys were needed to get inside armory. The gun rack/ foot locker keys maybe. But Only lady with those keys was hiding in the closet next to the gun racks, right?

If the enid actress is giving that much info out on the show. Well she is kinda ruining parts the producers / writers are angling it the masses. Is the actor playing Glen coming on next week to say he is not a big fan of being possibly hit to deep left field?

Just noticed you're from Detroit. What part? I'm out in the Novi area.

In the beginning of this last episode, we see Enid with her parents, and then we see her wandering around alone for a while. She seems very desperate, evidenced by the fact that she eats a turtle raw. There just doesn't seem to be enough time between those scenes of her on the road alone and walking up to the gates. She didn't age much at all. She looked essentially the same the whole time. When would she have had time to gotten involved with the Wolves and to have been worked into the plan? Look at Carl's hair. I think it's long partly to show the passage of time.

And I firmly believe it was those photographs that were left behind that let the Wolves to the gate. I think one picture even has the name of the community.

I don't understand the Wolves, and that's probably because they are super crazy. Why waste time dismembering people before you made sure you got them all? Half of them got whacked because of this. And we do see them taking prisoners for sure. At least one guy was being led around by a rope, and none of them gave Morgan in chains a second thought.

I thought the Truck ran into the wall because the driver was shot and it ran off road? Maybe I am mistaken

That's what I thought at first, then they showed that there was a walker inside, so they probably used a walker or a recently deceased person to hold down the gas pedal because if that walker was the driver then that has to be a record for turning on the show.

Didn't Jenner at the CDC say that they can reanimate anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours? Also, when Rick and Co were escaping Terminus, one of the butchers Rick killed turned and was shown walking towards the group right before they hopped the fence.

if you remember the sniper tried to leave the building with the tower, and the fence just feet from the truck had him pinned in. in all the shots of the fence you never even see the tower because it is pretty far away from the front gate . near where they were expanding the fence line to grow food as stated by Maggie to the mayor lady which again would make sense that they would attack there because it is open and under construction .

another great plan to have all the bad asses leave town while they have a hole in there fence line.

I have just really getting tired of story lines that need our heroes to constantly do dumb things and try to get out of it .or crazy bad luck .

just like the truck that has been holding back zombies at the mine for 5 years just happens to fall off the cliff while they are standing there looking at it and you cant say they agitated the zombies because it was on the other side if anything the zombies would have left that area to come towards them .

I just want to point out the obvious, why this show is so much better then fear the Walking Dead. The brief scene with the mom and son where she is trying to get him to sit down and get a haircut and so they can talk about their murdered Dad/husband, that delivered a far more effective look at a troubled teen and struggling parent then every episode of Fear that tried to do the same thing with that horrible cast and writing.

Totally agree

Yes he did.

My take on the truck sequence is that it was a Wolf driving the truck to ram the wall (possibly loaded with walkers to let loose), when he got shot by the guard tower guy spraying bullets into the cab. He dies, pulls the wheel to the right, takes out part of the building with the guard tower, rams into the wall, and falls over onto the horn. The door from the guard tower is blocked by the building debris and it takes the guy a few minutes to get out and over to the truck. Enough time for the dead Wolf to turn to a walker. Granted it was a quick turn, but not out of the question in the scope of past turnings.

.....which again would make sense that they would attack there because it is open and under construction .

Yes ... a new portion of fence was under construction and they were looking to enclose an open area for planting food. However, there is no way that they would make a hole in their current fence while they are expanding to another area. Nor is there any evidence that a hole was made. The openings in the fence that was shown, was just the unfinished section of new fence. The Wolves jumped over the fence all around the perimeter (as Carl noted from his view out the upstairs window), or they came in through the gate once the guard was taken out.

just like the truck that has been holding back zombies at the mine for 5 years ...

It has not been 5 years in TWD time. It's been only 2 tops. 9 months for Lori to be pregnant, and Judith is maybe a year old. She isn't even walking yet.

Spot on.

Yeah, didn't Shane turn almost right away as well? IIRC, Rick stabbed him, got up walked away and Shane was right up almost within a few seconds

Yep, that's correct. Jenner's words that reanimation takes minutes for some, hours for others. And Shane resurrected only a couple of minutes after his death.

what the wolves should have done was wait two weeks dress up in costumes and all show up at the front gate with a friendly " trick or treat"
