My guess is that we'll see another violent group in the area--like the one that attacked that campsite to steal their supplies.
Am I reading into it too much or did the governor have something to do with decapitations at the survivalists' cabin? One headless body had a sign on it that said "Liar" and another said "Rapist" (then I thought maybe it was Michonne's handiwork). He did seem surprised at the 1st headless body but keeping the heads on the floor sounded like him. The big thing is he yelled "Liar" right before hacking Hershel in the neck with the sword.
That's an interesting observation, but I don't think the writers of the show are creative enough to tie it together like that.
They did pick up some sort of distorted radio signal on one of the car radios while whey were out. I wonder what that was.
Did the guy at the CDC confirm that it was worldwide?
We know where's she's not. She's not at home enjoying her ol' Maytag.
Carol is the new Governor. I bet she even has an eyepatch by next midseason. If Andrea were still around, she would sleep with her.
I dont think Carol could be the executioner due to the very simple fact that she doesnt have the right tools. Cutting off a head is really hard and you need a big heavy sword (as seen in Game of Thrones) as well as the skill and strength. Michonne has been cutting heads alot and is also cutting off the heads of walkers, essentially undead bodies whose muscles, bones and ligaments are likely weaker given the fact that a knife can pierce their skulls quite easily. As seen with the governor, it took several strikes to cut off Hersel's head. Its unlikely Carol can defeat and behead an entire camp of people with just a knife.
The realitive strength of skulls portrayed on TWD has been a point of contention since the pilot. I think its safe to say we all agree skulls are remarkably soft on the show.
No. Beheading a human does not require a "big heavy sword". I've seen humans decapited by sword for real (spent 6 yrs in middle east). The only factors are the sharpness of the blade and the skill of the executioner.
Michonne beheads zombies easily because she uses a very sharp sword and, presumeably, is a skilled swordman. The Gov has no skill so, even using Michonne's sword, he does a hatchet job.

You forgot, in Season 3, Carol came out of the closet to confess that she in fact is... not a lesbian.
Well sorry to hear that. Not something I want to see for real. If you were (or are) in the force, thanks for your service. I don't agree with war but respect you guys (and gals) for doing what you do for your country.
Well the point I was trying to make is that as far as we know, Carol doesnt have a samurai sword or any significantly large blade to cut a person's head off and isnt exactly a blade master. I've never beheaded anyone so I cant say with any expertise but I would think beheading depends on a combination of skill and strength. Michone is a pretty fit women and has some guns while Carol, not so much. Carol only really needs a good hunting knife to fight the walkers who have soft skulls most likely due to the degradation of their bone mass over time without nutrition. The camp people were still alive and thus should have reasonably tough skulls and spine that would make beheading difficult.
Carol is at the mall. After all she has a station wagon to fill with shoes and hand bags.
As long as her boyfriend doesn't throw a fit and jump over a railing.
Maybe I jumped to conclusions, but it seemed to me that the person who was judging people and killing them at the cabin ended up taking his own life after not being able to live with what he had done. The body that they found that had died via self inflicted gunshot seemed to indicate that, so I'm confused why some of you think that it could be Carol or some other person who is still out there.
