I cant believe I just thought of this and it applies to not just walking dead but most zombie story's
if we all are infected already ,why does a non-lethal bite from the undead have any effect other than an infection from exposer to rotted flesh and the bacteria it contains? that might kill you without medical attention but it will take a while.
Asked and answered many times over in TWD threads.
What the hell is wrong with Lily? She's a fricking moron! Her daughter is nearly killed multiple times for days ... "Hey go play in the mud while mommy sits safely ontop of an RV looking the other direction for long periods of time. Oh, and go ahead an' holler for me because that never attracts walkers."
That's what I said. I would have my kid at arms reach at any moment. It could be that since they were relatively safe where they were (in their apt.) that they don't appreciate the danger. Either that or stupid writing.
So, what are the odds we'll see a severed Zombie Hershel head when they come back from break? Heads don't die until you poke the squishy inner parts with something pokey. Will Lizzy carry it around in a backpack and talk to it? So many possibilities...
Did you miss the part where the Gov. was beating Hershel's head in with the handle of the sword?
Hah, thanks buddyperhaps this will help him
I think I can post these now...He looks pretty dead to me

No. That type of growth would depend on a functional metabolic system. An infant that died, would "turn", & just basically lay there (or slightly move to the extent an infant might be able to move), until their body deteriorated/decomposed to the point where it was not viable in any fashion...Would a zombie baby's body continue to grow to adulthood? If the body ages, I assume they would not learn to walk so would they just be crawling around? Also, in the chaos that was the first few days of the zombie outbreak, I'd imagine that some hospital was over run before the maternity ward was cleared. If so, could there be a room somewhere full of 3-4 year old zombie kids(again assuming the bodies matured) laying in beds or incubators?
