The Walking Dead Season 4

Is the Governor slowly regaining his soul? I doubt it. I think he's going to arm himself up with the camp seen in the preview, take that camp and go to the prison with the intention assault and take it over (seriously, explains the Walkers taking down the fences).

The mother in the apartment with her police officer sister, father and little girl. When I heard her name, Lilly, I instantly thought, Lilly Caul?

DO NOT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO SEE COMIC/NOVEL SPOILERS AND POTENTIAL (DOUBTFUL)TV SPOILERS
Also when he said his name was Brian. I thought for sure they were hinting at the fact that he was Phillips brother but then they showed the picture of him with penny and presumably his wife so that kinda sucked

I wonder if they're going to do a half and half season with one side from ricks group and the other from the governors and then have them meet up for an epic season finale. It looks like we have at least a couple more episodes with the governor judging from the previews.

The governor was very humanized tonight. I actually felt bad for him. The feels, man.

I know right! It's kind of like how I feel about Jamie Lannister on Game of Thrones. I want to hate him but he seems like he is on the road to redemption.

Bonus cool photo

I think now, if something were to happen to the little girl, then the Gov. Will full on, bats**t insane. Then he'll be really dangerous.

Great episode! I was slightly distracted by the gov's similarities to Kurt Russell lol. I like his character and I love really getting into one guy's soul this way. The ensemble can be so diluted some characters are 2D but this guy I feel like we're getting a little more nuanced ( though the chess thing was heavy handed--I called the king's eyepatch).

This was quit possibly the best WD episode to date. No Lori, no RV man, no farm, no Karl stay in the house... Is it me or did it seem heavily borrowed from "the Road"?

I enjoyed the episode. I have not read the hidden spoiler above. Here is my theory. At the end of last week, the last scene is the Governor looking at the prison. This week we see what has transpired since the breakdown of Woodbury and what the Gov. has been up to. My guess is that maybe the Gov. has found a bit of humanity and is leading his new "family" to the safety of the prison. It would stand to reason that the Gov. is not behind the zombie horde on the road now with his "new daughter" in tow and new love interest beside him. To me, he seems like a broken man now looking for help.

Maybe I'll go read the comic spoiler above and see if I'm right all, LoL!

Edit- Read spoiler above. It's not related to my post here. :thumbsup

There's no way things can turn out for the Governor. The dude has lost way too much, burned way too many bridges, and has too many skeletons (dead daughters) in the closet. The dude has to die sooner or later.

Herschel gonna be mad, he missed out on spaghetti Tuesday.

Not a bad episode all together. I still can't pull for the *******. Ok, only when he helping the kid out. Oh and did you really need to bash old pops head in that bad? Like where is your knife or stop after you broke the skull. Maybe it was Just a massive built up of rage that got released when he saw nice people in trouble. Idk, next time kill noisy zombie when you want to be sneaky and don't bang the cart like animal of the muppets on the drums.

Adam is a respected member on here

So, what's your point? Should I be scared? they should be used to people questioning their ideas, they are in the field of science. I can respect his ideas and stuff. Not saying he is jerk or anything. But rocket scientist friends and I knows there are a few other ways to do stuff and it works. Not saying they are total clowns in life, the show makes them be ones at times. I doubt that he needs you to stick up for him nor does matter that he is a member here. There are lots of big name / famous people on here under unknown names. Things are gonna be said that will rustle feathers, it's part of life and just let it roll off your back. I bid you good day.

So back to WD stuff.

my theory is something bad will happen to Lilly, the pure evil Gov will return with new found vengeance and turn all his anger on rallying the new group against the prison in an episode in the second half of season.

It was an OK episode. Looks like next week will be more of the Gov too. Makes me sad though as I
was looking forward to Daryls reaction when Rick tells him he dumped Carol and came back alone.

Maybe it was just me, but was that Rick laying on the ground with a bullet hole in the head in the very
beginning of the episode or was that someone else?

Yes, but he did look a lot like Rick. :)

I think the governor is going to lose his new family and REALLY lose it. Even if he did manage to get any of them to the prison he would have to say "go on in there, you'll be safe" and then take off.

I like the epsiode to give the Governor dimension, but you know, after all and this being a broken man and such. I still mistrust the guy.

If they are actually going with the redemption scenario, that would be my guess. He knows Rick won't let him in, but like the actor (forgot his name...) said on Talking Dead, he is only living for the two women and little girl right now.

I always go over and watch this with my dad on Sun. and after the preview he said "I wonder if Carol is with that other group that the Governor's guy is targeting?"
