The Walking Dead Season 4

Okay, that was a rather slow start... Nice to see that they put emphasis on the Governor's demise... but they decided to rub salt in the wound that was Hershel's death.

And a good thing about the emphasis of the Governor's death. Now, everyone knows for sure that he's dead. Seeing Michonne put down Hershel's reanimated head was hard. It made me wish she had taken it after she did so, so she could bury it (give him sort of burial, since the others bury the ones they love).

Carl will become the villain, either in this season or the next. You heard it here first. Or maybe not.

Nice episode. A little slow, but they need to establish where everyone wound up after the prison. This may take a few episodes. I'm glad they didn't just bump into each other at the corner market. I'm glad Carl got his arse handed to him and ran back to daddy.

Haha you guys busting on Carl seem to have forgotten what it's like to be a teenager and convinced that your parents are imbeciles who are holding you back. He's acting like a punk kid under stress, as most kids do at one time or another. If he never defied or questioned his dad, I wouldn't buy his character.

Also, his entire schpiel toward his unconscious dad was true.

They said this episode would be the closest yet for a panel by panel comparison and it was from issue 49-50. Next week should be great

3 new people should be showing up that were really popular in the comics

Carl bossed the midfield to only turn into a dumb ass. A lawn lamp is not a great weapon to fight walkers with since almost are all plastic. I've broken about 4 of them a year with my lawn equipment. Pick a better weapon inside the house to use. I can't believe he couldn't kill that walker. A couple kicks to the head or slam the door on its head. Instead of getting something to kill it from the window, you ate 7 pounds of pudding.

Anyway, I got money on the Chinese kid kicking the bucket before the end of the season.

This is a great showing on growing up. It's like the Wonder Years with zombies. Basically put Carl back in his place. He is a man, but only because of the situation at hand. He is weak and doesn't have a solid plan moving into things. He still needs guidance.

Of course he's going to suck at killing zombies. He's a little kid. They're not that strong; I took the online test of me vs. 100 kids. It was pretty one-sided.

I want to know how good pudding tastes that has been ON TOP of a cabinet for over 2 years?

I also thought the dream scene with Michone was a commercial or something at first. Putting her sowrd
in the knife block threw me for a loop too?????

It was a little slow, but it totally captured what needed to be done. They put a lot of things to rest in this episode so they can begin the next chapter. They did a great job with it.

A lot of people are misinterpreting what happens with Carl in this episode. Him saying that he doesn't need his father, his attempt as scrapping for food, his poor attempt at trying to handle a single walker and his eating pudding on the rooftop. This is him seeing what the world would be like without his father, if it was just him alone. And when it came to the moment he thought he was going to have to put down his father, he realized he couldn't do it because he realized how much he needed his father. Not to mention, his point about his father just sitting and waiting for the Governor and not doing anything harkens back to the scene from Season 3 where Rick talks with him about the kid he shot, and Carl points out how inaction lead to death (such as how not killing the Walker in the swamp lead to Dale's death, now how killing Andrew lead to the deaths of T-Dog and Lori, and how not killing the Governor when Rick had the chance lead to the death of Merle). To me, the scene where he's chewing out an unconscious Rick because all he wanted to do was farm and was waiting for the Governor to turn back up came off like "I told you so! Now we've lost everything and everyone we know could be dead!" And this pisses Carl off because he did warn his father, and his father did nothing in his point of view.

And, to be fair, Carl was right about the inaction leading to death. The prison was attack two different times prior to the mid-season finale, yet Rick just kicked back and didn't do anything about the Governor after they went to Woodbury. Hell, Michonne kept looking because she knew he was dangerous and needed to be put down. All Rick did was play farmer, dropping his guard, refusing to carry his gun at the start of the season. With all that, Carl was right. Can you blame him for being pissed off at his Dad when he warned him about what inaction lead to?

That's just my opinion and I could very well be wrong in my point of view.

Yes, Rick took a back seat to being leader, because he didn't have to be the leader anymore. The group didn't stop taking measures for protection.

Carl learned how to not listen from someone...thanks dad. Also I liked the Comment about shane that Carl said to Rick about the door. It's sad that Carl got skills / lessons from other men & women. Rick Only taught him about things & stuff

I feel a little miffed about your comment - as an asian… he's Korean since season 1 and told so once.

I recently made an experiment - bread wise, still have wholemeal sandwich that the best before date was 06.11.2013. No mold, still good, at little tasteless, but still good. If you like I can take a photo of the thing…

Regarding Michonne: I had to rewind to rewatch, it was a sign, that it was a dream scene.

I like the episode too, I liked the emphasis of the dead Gov, I was sad about head zombie Hershel. But I am not sure about today's title… I thought it was "Suicide Trip" since Michonne and Carl were behaving like crazy. I liked how Michonne got uneasy about seeing another black zobie woman - she feared of becoming like her or saw herself in that zombie.

But I can also understand Rick's point: he wanted to give back Carl some normality. But Carl's right, Rick's passivity was the downfall for the group and reasoning with the Gov was a failed attempt. I hope Rick learns now, not to give in and kills the next person in the instant, who wants to take something away from him.

The Governor is not dead.
LOLZ. :lol

OT: I thought the episode was solid. As for Carl's behavior, name me a teenager who's NOT an a-hole at least 70% of the time.

Also, thought it was pretty awesome that Herschel's head was a practical effect (shown on 'Talking Dead'), as opposed to them just defaulting to CGI.

I know that his ethnic background is Korean. It was a how the Dixon brothers called him Chinese. 1st by Daryl calling him one only to be corrected. Then by Merle to be corrected by Daryl. Which both brothers say " what ever!" When corrected. Guess no one got that joke

It highly depends on the the bread you have and how you keep it.

If it has been kept in the refrigerator, it will last considerably longer then if it's in the package out in the air at room temperature. Also preservatives. Most normal store bought bread will last a really long time. But if you buy a loaf from a local bakery, it will mold most times within a week.

How did NO ONE catch Jack-Zombie?? From American Werewolf in London! He was in the horde with Michonne. Flipped out seeing that!
