The Walking Dead Season 3

Watching it atm and enjoying it more than last weeks.

Just noticed though, the riot armour worn by Glen and Wyatt Twerp (Carl) is the same body armour used by the riot police in Underworld Awakening

I haven't read any of the comics so I don't know what may be in store. I'm glad it appears Rick is starting to snap out of his funk.

Kirkman explained in the talking dead that Tyreeses group had in fact left the prison and no one knows where they went and when they will show up but Tyreese is way too important a characters (comic book wise) for them to just kill off. I'm actually wondering if they'll come across Woodbury and end up joining them.

I was thinking the same about Woodbury. Didn't the preview for next week show a car at Woodbury's gate? However, IMO, I doubt the Governor would allow new people into the group right now. He would probably have them killed thinking they are part of Rick's group trying to infiltrate Woodbury.

I'm thinking more that Tyrese's group was still close enough to the prison that they heard the firefight but since they appear to be disarmed, they couldn't help. I'm hoping they show up next week.

Maybe it was me but it seems no one could hit the broad side of a barn
in last night episodes. they can hit moving zombies but can't seem to tag
all of the people who were standing still during the assault.

And...... for a group that always says they are really low on ammo, they
sure shot up an endless storm of it last night.

Rick is a tard. No one can shoot anything unless they are riding in car while hanging out a window. The governer is the greatest sniper in the world..He must have banked that shot off the wall after he shot between 3 fences and below the angle that Axel was at. Glen should have steam rolled the whole field of zombies or blow his pickup right into the governers truck. BTW..How did Glen miss them on the road? plus end up inside the gate after 5-7 mins of a gun fight..

I would blow the town of Woodbury up.

They were under much more stress being fired back at. The walkers are always easy targets, hardly anyone does long distance shots on walkers.

The Gov's sniper kill was a bit ridiculous...

I thought it was the guy in the guard tower that killed Axel, & the governor was just watching it though his rifle's scope.

That's what I thought as well.

I'm very conflicted about this show lately. There are moments where it's just fantastic and very enjoyable, but then they do things like Maggie keeping the fact that she wasn't actually raped from Glenn.

It makes no sense for her to keep that to herself. If it was me, as a woman, I'd make a point of telling him that the Governor didn't take it to that extreme. I swear if they start turning Maggie over into Lori or Andrea, I'll be officially done with TWD.

On the other hand, I loved Daryl finally standing up to Merle. I love that Daryl has evolved so much from his redneck, racist douschy-ness into someone who doesn't hesitate to come to the rescue of people beset by walkers, without regard to their race... simply because it's the right thing to do. More and more, in my mind, Daryl is the actual hero of this show.

I figured it was the guy in the tower that shot Axle as well. I also don't think they were meaning to kill everyone with gunfire. Example is near the end of the battle the Govenor is just randomly shooting. Plus, dropping of the Walkers. I think the attack was more to scare, disrupt, and demoralize Rick's group wile taking a few out in the process. That's what I took away from it at least.

Rick was actually an easy target for Martinez, especially when Rick stood up and was looking at what was happening inside the prison. But instead of shooting Rick, Martinez just stood there watching and smiling.

I guess that the Governor just wanted to scare and demoralize them.

i am starting to dislike this show honestly. first, the character development is just so way out there, that its too far from likely for me to believe.
secondly, theres so many plotholes that are just pointless. a million bullets, yet noone can hit anything. but killing axel was a one shot.
also, the truck filled with zombies. there was maybe 10 zombies in there and 10 seconds later the whole yard was filled with 100 zombies at least.

i know its not to be argued about realistic stuff in a show with zombies.
but at least try to make stuff believable.

they need to step up their game before i lose interest.

I figured all the random shooting was noise to attract walkers, and since they took out the gates, there is now nothing keeping the walkers outside from just waltzing on in during all the confusion

To be honest, it's not as far fetched as it sounds to make a headshot from that distance. I've done it before using my C7 (M16) and a C79 scope. Although I'm not certain what type of scope the governor was using but if it's zeroed in and the conditions are favourable, its possible. The reason he made the shot was because everyone was standing around so he had time to get it right.

As for everyone not hitting the broad side of a barn, it was a firefight. Every time they popped their heads out, they were getting lit up. In the time it took them to actually get their crosshairs on targe lt and squeeze off a shot, they probably would of caught one in the face. You'd be surprised how many fire fights over seas had guys pop out, let off a couple rounds and take cover.

I didn't really keep count but weren't there about 10 walkers that filed out of the van and then the rest were just walkers that came from outside the gate? I don't really remember there being more than 10 around Hershel and the van.

NO! The governor cant make that shot to where was standing..he really cant see the shot. The tower guy didnt do it either due to the direction of the blast. If he did make that shot, the bullet would have hit her on the exit. plus the enter point is right on his forehead.

Still doesn't explains Glen Magic drive. Plus no one saw the governer drive up and park his car, aim and fire?? also a dude that got into a tower that is inside 3 fences?...BS show is going to hell in a bad way.

Maggie already told Glenn that she wasn't raped when they were reunited in Woodbury

There was nobody on watch, remember Glenn asking?

And maybe the tower guard got in between the fences where Tyrese and company entered.. If the perimiter surrounded the prison, maybe the path to all the towers are linked

Episode was good, liked the ending a lot. The Governor was using a AUG with the standard AUG scope, which would be a pretty hard shot to make from that distance, but then again maybe his 1 eye and lack of depth perception helped with that, or he had an AIM bot mod as well on his gun with unlimited ammo.

ok no one is on watch..Old man one leg hobbled down the whole court yard. you dont think he saw or heard a car? Plus the fact that everyone else ( -glen & the blonde girl) was standing around in the court yard watching out that way. So..still doesnt explain Glen's magic pick up tricks. If these people are that stupid they should all die. Crap Rick is a countable for most of the death already since he showed up. I would have popped Rick, Lori way back in the day. The Brothers are the best tag team in the bunch.
