The Walking Dead Season 3

Better episode, and so good to see Daryl growing. There was a nice nod to an earlier episode. anyone remember Daryl telling Glen That he "has some balls for a China man" and Glen correcting him that he is Korean?

Nice to see Daryl correcting Merle about Glen. Made we think about a scene in one of my favorite comedies.

"Also, dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please."

I was totally not expecting axle to bite it. Such a great moment although I'm disappointed that he was killed as he was really starting to open up.

kinda funny....i mentioned it to others that he is probably going to die soon....they asked why and i said "because he's talking a lot more"

sure enough he didnt survive the episode.....

the show is pretty predictable.....

new african american cast member joins the cast...previous african american actor will die.....(T-Dogg, African American prisoners, Oscar)

a supporting character starts talking more and a back story is a little bit more revealed...they end up dying....(T-Dogg and now Axel)

ok no one is on watch..Old man one leg hobbled down the whole court yard. you dont think he saw or heard a car? Plus the fact that everyone else ( -glen & the blonde girl) was standing around in the court yard watching out that way. So..still doesnt explain Glen's magic pick up tricks. If these people are that stupid they should all die. Crap Rick is a countable for most of the death already since he showed up. I would have popped Rick, Lori way back in the day. The Brothers are the best tag team in the bunch.

They could of pulled the truck up hours before when no one was around and Rick was the only one outside and of course you can't rely on him to Notice anything as he's off in his own world.

They could of been sitting there for hours, doing a recce of the prison. Strong points, weaknesses, etc.

Not too long before the shooting I remarked to my brother that his mustache seemed to get more and more glorious every week and I wondered what it would end up like... :lol

It started out relatively small, and wound up as this magnificent example of handlebars...

also a dude that got into a tower that is inside 3 fences?

Simple, the same way the Atlanta group got into the prison through fences. Sneak up to the fence, cut through it with a pair of bolt cutters, get around inside the tower area, into the tower and up inside of it. Not that hard.

getting into the fences is not that hard i agree. the fact is no one seems to have an idea of crap around them unless it slaps them in the face. Recon and then move a truck..gotta still see that car roll up. no one got a answer on Glen's magic wheels? I wonder what kind of gas mileage he gets in it.

NO! The governor cant make that shot to where was standing..he really cant see the shot. The tower guy didnt do it either due to the direction of the blast. If he did make that shot, the bullet would have hit her on the exit. plus the enter point is right on his forehead.

His head went "Back & to the Left", so the kill shot came from the Grassy Knoll....
...Miah

Episode was good, liked the ending a lot. The Governor was using a AUG with the standard AUG scope, which would be a pretty hard shot to make from that distance, but then again maybe his 1 eye and lack of depth perception helped with that, or he had an AIM bot mod as well on his gun with unlimited ammo.

I agree, pretty tough to make a headshot from that distance with an AUG, while hardly an AK in terms of accuracy it's also not a sniper rifle, and the scope isn't much of a scope at all with only 2X - 3X magnification at best. Add to that, the Governor was doing that standing and with his AUG completely unsupported, not even a sling to help steady the rifle. I don't think that even the legendary Carlos Hathcock or the late Chris Kyle could have made that shot with their dedicated sniper rifles with high power scopes unsupported and standing.

Lucky shot, doesn't really matter. It was dramatic. It's POSSIBLE to make that shot, just very unlikely.

That really doesn't matter though, but more importantly, early in the episode I was REALLY getting concerned that this was not the Governor I knew from the comics. He was being such a pansy assed wimp that he seemed like they gutted the character as much as they gutted any degree of intelligence from Andrea.

I was glad I was wrong about the direction the Governor was taking.

Maybe he missed the body shot he intended, and instead caught the head? In any case, a head shot is a pretty intimidating thing.

True, but it would have made an interesting scene if while Carol was laying there using him as cover, he suddenly awakens and tries biting her.

a Show?? this is the future!..jk. Rick and friends should really learn to build explosives. big Badda Boom!

Big explosions aren't what you want in a zombie situation. At least not this type. Yeah, you may take out one group, but you'll draw in a ton more.

I thought it was funny how every man, woman and child, while in a fast moving vehicle, on rough terrain, can accurately get a headshot on a moving walker, every time. But, they can't hit each other in a 10 minute shootout while stationary and out in the open. lol. Love the show though

walkers dont return fire, plenty of time to aim
