well i guess with the RPF, youre never the only one :D

also, the makeup this week was weak again. obviously they cant make everyone look rotten and stuff, but this week, they all just looked dirty and with a little makeup and contact lenses.
 
Regarding the rifle on the wall, I saw that too but I think it was just an odd frame for the rifle giving the illusion of it being bent.

Anyway. Everyone needs to sit Michonne down and tell her to open her ****ing mouth. What the hell is with her going to the prison and then not bothering to say WHY she went there??? And she gives the BAREBONES information to Rick about Woodbury, doesn't mention the whole conversation that Merle had with Maggie and Glen about 'the one handed racist, redneck man looking for his brother,' or at least give a run down of all the information she can think of regarding Woodbury. Not telling Andrea about her suspicions regarding Woodbury was one thing, but then choosing to be so quiet regarding it all when at the Prison? Stupid.

My god, these writers make women into nothing better than semen receptacles.

As a lifelong Georgian currently in exile in FL ;) I find that UK and Australian actors seem to have a really easy time doing what I consider a proper Southern accent. I was surprised to find out Andrew Lincoln was British and that the guy who plays Sooki's brother on Tru Blood was Australian.

Course, it seems to work both ways. I can do a pretty convincing RP, Yorkshire and Glaswegian accent if I try. Working on NZ and Aussi as well.

Was watching a program on H2 about Dixieland and all things southern, and one of the guests was a linguist who pointed out the similarities between most southern and UK accents. It's our northern brethren who are actually further derived linguistically. So I'm not all that surprised at how good the Brits are. Equally unsurprised by Norman Reedus's southern and Irish accents.
 
You would think Andrea would have mentioned the video she saw at the CDC of what happens to the brain when so done dies and reanimates.
 
I hope Rick puts one between the Govenors eyes. Never read the comics so I have no idea what will go down, but it'd be nice.

I don't think it was just the angle, I noticed it too.

I saw that too, my wife had a good laugh at it. We "reviewed" it 2-3 times and it really does not seem like it was due to the angle.

Fact is they could have offed her for going where she wasnt supposed to be and attacking the dead dugout. Not difficult to say she went after people as well being viewed already as hostile and an outsider. Off her right then and there and be done with it as opposed to the fox and hound game.

To me, the sign of a good tv series is how much you anticipate the next episode. This is one heck of a great show. I havent read the comics, but this show is so great, now I dont want to because I dont want to spoil any part for myself.

I cant wait to see how Darryl and Merle react when they meet up. I just dont see Merle growing the way Darryl has. I think he is going to die at some point. I wonder how/who?

The governor is probably going to die. I wonder who gets to off him?

Michonne is easily the best character. I cant wait to see her show the group what she can really do.

In a world full of zombies, its ironic that humans are what you have to be most afraid of. I guess that is why I like Michonne's anti-social character. Everyone needs help from time to time though.

It seems that AMC may be hyping this a bit but who knows...

In a statement on Nov. 26, the programmer said: "AMC Networks is informing our loyal viewers who are Verizon customers that we are in negotiations. Our discussions are ongoing and we are hopeful to reach an agreement that recognizes the fair value of our networks."

The telco issued its own statement on Monday morning: "There is no risk of FiOS TV customers losing AMC imminently, as AMC Networks has incorrectly claimed. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt by AMCN to scare our FiOS TV customers into thinking that they will lose their programming.

"Verizon has a history of working with top programmers to reach mutually beneficial agreements that enable our customers to continue enjoying the best programming on FiOS TV’s industry-leading service," the telco continued. "We continue to work hard on behalf of our customers, as we negotiate with AMC Networks to reach an agreement that is reasonable and in our customers’ best interest. It is unfortunate that AMCN has decided to unnecessarily publicize these discussions, but not surprising as they have a history of using their viewers as pawns in their negotiations with distributors."


Based on the above I am wondering if AMC is using propaganda to get a better deal for themselves. If you notice on their website there is no where for you to discuss this with them and see how much of it is their fault. What if Verizon turns around and makes you pay extra for the channel like they do with HBO?

I respect Glen a hell of a lot for taking that beating and not giving away the groups's position and taking out a walker while tied to a chair! Talk about having cast iron balls.
 
Why would AMC threaten all the major carrier customers. First DirectTV now Verizon? Perhaps if we all boycott their shows they will realize how much revenue stream will be lost.

Personally I think that AMC is trying to work out a partnership deal with one carrier so as to isolate the other competitors OR perhaps to develop a TV only viewing rather than something over the Internetz! This way any carriers that provide TV and Internet content will be threatened!

That is character building. As the series progresses, and the older people die off, the younger people will have to become leaders. Its just a great show.
