The Walking Dead Season 3

I can't see the phone being a big part of the show like it is in the comics and think doing it know they can get it over and done with.

Since I don't read the comics I don't know what will become of Andrea, but of all the characters on the TV show, I think she's the most dangerous.

She takes on the belief of whomever she's with. She became a believer in Shane when she was him, a side-kick to Michonne, and could become a believer in the Governor now that he's got her under his "spell". Someone like her is a dangerous person to be around in the world they live in.

It's unfortunate how gullible her character is. That actress was pretty good on the Shield.

I'm sure it's just the show's way of giving some characters more real world behavior. Who doesn't know someone who'll go along with whatever group they are with?

She didn't approve of the arena, but damn, who won't she sleep with?

I liked it, but not as much last week. I agree with Mirror on the phone. Perfect in my mind. As far as Andrea goes, I am so hoping that something will happen soon to make her T.V. Character even half as interesting as her comic character.

I went over and watched it with my dad and we also didn't get that the zombie ate Lori. I think if it had her hair in its mouth they should have put more on it or something. I feel stupid though because my sister said my nephew figured it out.

I was really hoping for some zombie kids in the daycare, but I guess that's too much. :lol

Watching it last night, my wife said "that's not supposed to be Lori is it?" to which I said "looks more like a zombie ate Lori"

For me, she is just an over-the-top charicature instead of a "real world" character, much like the Governor in the comic. They just don't fit to me.

If you like her charcter, more power to you. She just stands out and is jarring to me.

I don't get what makes Michonne a GI Joe character. I love her, because she's genre savvy. She knows that when the world's gone to hell, any perfect community left is a false utopia. And her fears are not unfounded.

I disagree on this. Even in the comics the phone symbolized his mental state and his "coping" mechanisms. To have it play out not only wouldn't work/fit in the story, it wouldn't even make sense since his emotional state isn't going to get much worse from here on out. As for ties things together, that's the whole point, it ties directly to his mental state.

I suppose if this is supposed to be Rick's lowest point and he is going to regroup (mentally) after this, that makes sense. However, in the comic, I feel like there was a lot of despair after the prison (granted the timing of Lori's death was different) and I would rather see Lori "come back" later rather than immediately.

Lets get some episode seven spoilers, can't wait to hear how that one plays out :love

You'll have to wait at least until this weekend, so I can confirm a few things.

Hoe many episodes are in this season? Anyone know?

I believe they just finished episodes 15 & 16 down in Atlanta a week and a half ago.

Also, in Episode 12 a character returns....

Morgan. Rick, Carl, & Michonne head back to King's County and run into him. He's set up a bunch of zombie traps everywhere. No sign of Dwayne though.

okkk that is good then what happen to daryl, gllen , maggie and andrea

Just watched it. I was surprised by the appearance of the phone, too. I think actually it makes sense for casting purposes. They can contract with the woman who plays Lori to do her scenes, any flashbacks, and all her ADR work in a single season rather than having to have her come back later and record her dialogue.

Good episode but ugggggjhh....poorly executive Lori-zombie scene.

Are we to assume that a zombie ate an entire woman who weighs apprx 110lbs, along with her bones and clothes? What the hell??!!

And since when do zombies eat dead bodies? I thought zombies ate the living?

What they should have shown is the bloated zombie with a half devoured, unrecognizable bodie lying next to it.

Lori's body was dragged around the corner from where Rick found the zombie. It ate as much of her as it could. This was pointed out during Talking Dead last night. And, from what I gathered from past episodes, zombies eat fresh bodies, which means that if it has been dead for only a few minutes, they'll still eat it. After about 20 minutes, or however long it takes for the body to begin to break down and begin to produce a rotting smell, then they don't do anything with the body any more.
